Dr. Omer Munshi, MD

I guess most people have exhausted as many resources as they can when they make an appointment with a pain Doctor. After having back pain and going through the effort to make corrections, I made an appt with Dr Munshi. I wish I had done it earlier. He is very thorough in his diagnostics and treatment regimen, always letting the patient dictate the treatment. He's been 100% accurate in his descriptions of what you might feel along the way of the treatment. Most recently he completed an infraneural block on my back and I can honestly say the pain that I've experienced for the past 2 years is gone for now. Dr Munshi represents the very best of what we all hope for in a Doctor. I would recommend him to anyone seeking pain relief for an existing problem.

my initial visit was with the nurse practitioner, (which was my choice because of the timing of my schedule coming from out of state) I?ve had injections for spine pain in the past & was familiar with procedures.). When I met Dr. Munshi at the pain management center for my treatment, he spent a lot of time getting to know me and explaining the procedure and asking if I had questions or concerns.. The procedure was done in a timely manner, and went very well. I woke up with no pain and was able to leave a short time after. I would highly recommend this caring, highly experienced , and compassionate doctor. I had concerns prior to procedure and Dr. Munshi called me himself to address that . His staff was professional and efficient with ease of making appointments and returning my messages & concerns . I would rate them. ?12? out of 10 scale. April 27, 2023

Dr. Munshi performed a nerve block on my lower back. I am very impressed with his professionalism and honesty. His bedside manner is excellent. He is a very caring compassionate doctor. I highly recommend Dr Munchi. My pain has diminished just after one day. He honestly told me that I may need surgery to fully correct my issue and I appreciate and respect his recommendation.

Dr. Munshi is a great doctor. His was very informative with my care knowledge, caring and I'm doing 100 times better since his epidural steroid injection. His staff is rude and unprofessional. The have scheduled and unscheduled me for my appointments, they give out over an hours worth of paper work to be completed that could be easily emailed to you before hand. And they have called me to charge me incorrectly (because my deductible was met) and got an attitude when I asked for a receipt.

Best pain doc hands down. Procedure went very smooth and pain is resolved.

He is the most caring and compassionate Dr. with a great bedside manner. He goes above and beyond what is necessary for a Dr. to do especially in times of crisis. He listens and gives sound medical advice. I wish all Dr.’s were like him.

Dr. Munshi is my pain doctor. Before being able to go to him I had to see other pain docs who really didn’t care. I’m a cancer patient and the other doctors just gave me all sorts of pain meds to where I felt like a zombie! Dr. Munshi was able to go over my medical records review my medications and give me a drug regimens that works great for me. If your looking for a doctor to give you pain meds he’s not for you. If your looking for a doctor who will give you what you need to be pain free then he is the best. I would recommend him differently. I’ve sent my mom and grandma and wife to him, and he’s done great by all of them. I’m very pleased with him and his staff.

Fabulous, considerate, goes out of his way to help

I had my migraine botox administered by Dr Munshi. He is very precise. I did not feel any pain or discomfort. He was very professional and so was the rest of his staff. He replies within 24 hrs or less with answers to your questions and is very hands on. I highly recommend him!

Unbelievably a real fool. His office was in a run down storefront off the Gulf Frwy. Munchie didn’t listen and talked incessantly about what he could do and ended up doing nothing.

Dr. Munshi was extremely rude to me over the phone after my first visit. After my first initial assessment, I concluded a great visit with Dr. Munshi. While I thought he was going to be a great specialist for me; he turned out to be the most rudest, unprofessional, non-caring doctor that I have ever encountered based upon a phone call. He broke the record! I could never wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone due to his anger and rudeness he displayed toward me. Very poor listener!

Not recommended, office staff is rude. Nurse is elusive and uncaring. Office is a store front in poor neighborhood, not clean. Wait time is excessive.

Dr. Munshi takes the time to really listen to all your concerns and answer any and all questions thoroughly in a way that's easy to understand, without talking down to you or over your head. I never felt rushed or that I didn't have his full attention. I found him to be very personable and kind and easy to talk to. His staff was very nice as well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Munshi.
