Best experience I have ever had with such serious severe spinal problems. Dr Z is a truly gifted surgeon and doctor. He is highly intelligent and gifted with intuitive judgment.

A very thorough visit
I was referred to Doctor Zalatimo and I truly can say its been the very best referral. His staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable. His interns and PA was very knowledgeable and spoke highly of him. Doctor Zalatimo was very intentional in making sure I understood the diagnosis and what can be done. Of course I researched him and his success rates and reviews. I felt a peace with him and knew I was at the right place in my health journey. I would definitely refer him and his staff!!

Neurosurgery of Lumbar spine
Dr. Zalatimo has given my life a new start! For six years, my world was closing down and although others may not have seen it, I knew what I was giving up day by day. Numbness and tingling were my new companions and I did not want them any longer. But the options offered to me weren't friendly either...until I met Dr. Z. His warm, caring manner, his skill set, his resume and my intuition, (having been associated with medical/legal professionals for 40+ years) told me to have the surgery this doctor recommended. I thank God for Dr. Zalatimo and a successful surgery.

In the course of 6 months I went from not being able to walk without agonizing pain to fun and pain free walks with my dog in the woods. I was suffering from spinal stenosis and also had a cyst in the same l3-l4 region - surgery was in april - slow walks in the neighborhood for the next 6 weeks and then 6 weeks of PT and I am back to 2-3 hour hikes around Loch Raven Reservoir. Thank you Dr. Zalatimo

I had severe nerve pain left from my orthopedic surgeon that I feel messed up my back surgery. I tried for months to get my orthopedic surgeon to help me. He would not answer my calls or call back after I left several messages. He finally put in an order for me to get a blood test to see if I had an infection(3 years after my original surgery). I finally was referred to Dr Zalatimo by my advanced pain physician. Dr. Zalatimo said he could fix me. He had to go in through the front one month and in through the back four weeks later. He did just what he said he could do. He fixed me. Thank God for Dr. Z. He is the absolute greatest surgeon. Thank you Dr. Z, I will only refer anyone that has a back or brain problem to you.

Dr. Zalatimo is absolutely fantastic. I have a medical issue that has been really complicated and drawn out with lots of different aspects and symptoms. He has been wonderfully patient and very receptive to my needs. Additionally, his office is very responsive to any requests to appointments or records. He is an excellent Dr. and really takes the time to understand what will benefit each patient, he doesn't take a one size fits all approach.

I went to consult with Dr. Zalatimo about my spinal stenosis, which was getting worse year after year to the point where the quality of my life was greatly affected. After talking to him, my husband and I felt that we had finally found a solution for the chronic pain that I had lived with for over 20 years. Dr. Zalatimo inspired a lot of trust, he was thorough in his explanation of the procedure ( a laminectomy) and what I could expect following the surgery. The results have exceeded my expectations! The relief was very noticeable to me just a few days after the procedure. I had the surgery on August 6th of this year, and I feel wonderful!!! I can do all the things I love: walking, dancing, running after my grand babies and I am pain free for the first time in many years! I am extremely grateful to Dr. Zalatimo and his staff, and would encourage anyone suffering from this condition to seek his help.

I had surgery 5/29/2018, now I am suffering with more pain than before the surgery. Nothing is helping to alleviate the pain in three areas. My pain has increased to 3 different areas. Totally disappointed with the services performed. Would never recommend Dr. Zalatimo. Have resorted to pain management techniques but nothing is helping. After surgery I have developed nerve damages.
