Great neurologist!
I have seen many neurologists and I trust Dr Wazzan to give me the medical care I need, listen and address my concerns, and discuss all treatment options thoroughly. He is respectful, knowledgeable, patient and dedicated to making sure patients are treated as best as possible.

Neurologist office
I am a patient of this doctor and he told me that he was a stroke doctor not a neurologist when I looked him up. It said he was a neurologist out of Lakeland, Florida. I feel like I’ve been lied to. I do not know if I will continue to see him.

Save your energy and time
This doctor does not care. He Interrupted me multiple times and didn’t listen to a word I said. During my last visit a few months ago I advised the doctor that my fingers and toes are completely numb with no explanation and have been for more than 4 years. I advised I had a nerve study done back in 2020 and the only thing it showed was carpal tunnel in my right hand. The doctor brushed it off and said I’m getting carpal tunnel in my left hand even though the study did not report that. I then explained my previous doctor sent me for a CINE MRI to test my CSF flow. I signed all the necessary paperwork for his office to obtain those records from my previous doctor. The doctor had no idea what kind of mri it was and reported my CSF flow was normal regardless of verifying with my prev dr. I told him today my migraines have gotten worse and he lied on my medical records and reported my headaches have not changed! I left this office in tears and will not be returning.

I ignored the reviews and glad I did.
My Neurologist of many years retired. His replacement was Dr. Omar Wazzan. I read the reviews and almost cancelled. Glad I did not. He was friendly, personable, professional, listened to my concerns, examined me, answered my questions, and renewed a med. I would recommend him to a friend or family member.

Doctor seemed distracted and unable to engage in conversation. He could not retain any previously mentioned comments or concerns, that had been discussed within the last few minutes. His care instructions were to follow a fibromyalgia doctor on YouTube and exercise. This was disheartening as I expressed multiple times that exercise was a main part of my life before and now is excruciating to do. He brushed off my concerns of pain directly related to an activity I use to do with no problem, and then told me to just keep doing what hurts me. He also told me that if blood work comes back with no indication of auto immune diseases, I had no reason to return to him. I left with no treatment plan and was told to do things that hurt me and to get medical assistance from YouTube. Doctor has extremely poor bedside manner and has nothing to offer patients.

I have a family member that has been so mistreated by this doctor, he doesn't follow through on what he promises and does not take patients very seriously, (even when they cannot complete dayly functions due to conditions.)

This neurologist shouldn’t be in practice. He will not answer questions you have, his staff is completely rude anytime during communication, and if you continue to ask questions about your condition he will literally tell you to google it!! When it comes to Epilepsy you don’t play this idk game with your patients. Save yourself the time and frustration. Stay far away from him, and his MA Brooke.
