Dr. Oluyemi Aina, MD

First appt today. Dr. Aina's attitude from the get-go was dismissive and rude. He started the appointment late, then cut me off multiple times after asking me to describe my issues and asked me outright multiple times why I was seeing him in the first place. He essentially accused me of doctor shopping and made me justify why I had switched from past psychiatrists even though he went through my prescription history and could clearly see evidence of me being prescribed inappropriate medications. Note that I did NOT at any point ask for addictive or controlled medications during the appointment. He told me I had no idea what I was talking about regarding my diagnosis and "looking stuff up on the internet is no way similar to having a medical degree", as if I was making things up about my lived experience. Before we were even halfway through the appointment, you could see he'd already mentally checked out. I have never experienced such disrespect from a medical provider.

Great appointments with Joyce. Even on telehealth. Front office integration and scheduling was terrible. Doctors are great but not good response from front office.

Review for Frisco:Today I came in and received the absolute worse customer service ever. Upon booking my appointment, no one disclosed that a fee would be due because of a previous missed appointment (which I did not call to schedule myself). I explained to the lady at the front that my insurance was billed for today and she replied, she just bills--she doesn't know anything else. THEN BLANK SILENCE Meanwhile she was on the phone on what I believe was a personal call. I told her I would like to know why I am paying when my insurance was ALSO billed? I do not mind making the payment if my insurance was not billed for the visit--or at least, I am willing to pay the copay only for the missed appointment. BLANK STARE! She did not know anything nor did she EVER OFFER to accommodate me by at least notifying my provider I was there and then discussing after. AND SHE LAUGHED as I walked out of the office!!! HORRIBLE!!!

the front desk person fraudulently took my money knowing I was not seeing the doctor on site, this same lady said to me she had problems with me from the time I walked in which which was a lie, I told her the problem started when they wanted 40.00 vs 20.00. I called my drs office to speak with the referral person and said I didn't ask for a mental health worker I asked for a psychologist & please work on this for me, At this time the girl behind the window yelled out all psychologist are mental health workers and not a $20.00 specialist, I said to the lady I was speaking to I guess you heard that and thanked her, then a lady sitting in waiting room started in on me about everyone knows my private business...... told her I have nothing to hide and she can take the info with a grain of salt and do what she wants with it. oh no one will be able to help you.... then they let me sit there and waited on every one. my appt was at 115 and it was 245 before I saw anyone, I talked with noone

I actually like Dr. Aina but his office staff is so unprofessional and just plain rude. I wish I had read these reviews before I made my appointment. I hate paying good money for people to be rude to me.

When I first became a patient at this practice, I would have given it a 5 star review. I was really helped by the doctor and found medications that made my life easier. The office staff used to be friendly. The doctor used to be patient. However, the practice seems to have gone downhill. I don't know why. There are still some awesome people, but others are rude and heartless. They're less flexible in scheduling appointments. It's like take the appointment you said you can't make it to or leave.

Dr . Aina is the most caring and the nicest Dr I have ever know .

Office staff is so rude. Handled a miscommunication terribly and receptionist seemed to delight in the fact that I wouldn’t be able to see the doctor because I had not understood her phone call telling me to come in an hour early. Office was totally empty, she could have at least let me attempt to get the paperwork completed. I took time off from my job to be treated terribly. I will not go back and I will tell everyone I know. This is not how you treat patients.

Dr. Aina has really helped me with my anxiety and especially my bipolar disorder. I have had many office visits with him and he has helped tremendously. However, I had to be hospitalized twice recently and he is so caring and compassionate to you. I was really crying from my depression when I got to the hospital and he saw me and he changed my medicine for me. A few days later I was smiling and he said its good to see you smiling
