6 hours wait time
Waited 6 hours and then felt like my problems were brushed under the rug. Have been trying for years to get a referral for a sleep study. Doctor tells me he will send referral but still no call from a pulmonologist after visit last week. Was suppose to send refills to pharmacy but only one refill got there. Now pharmacy keeps sending requests for refill with no response from office. Called Wednesday about a problem with medication. Staff said I would hear something Thursday. Still no response and it’s Friday. I will find another Doctor.

Why schedule multiple people for appointments at 11:30? Unless you are prepared with food drinks and a cot, do NOT schedule an appointment with this office. No respect for the patient or the patients time. If they had any respect they would have shorter wait times. This is unacceptable. After 4 hours in the lobby they shuttle you to the triage room. Had I known how long of a wait it would be I would have happily ate before going. Multiple people walked out of the lobby. A staff member came to the triage assistant and informed her that 2 others one being a diabetic(what's hippa right?) were trying to leave that had been placed in patient rooms. The triage person told her,"Don't let them leave!!" They had been there over 4 hours. I was placed in a room and the staff was very unprofessional laughing and acting very immature in the hall. I finally left without seeing the doctor. My vet has better service than this. My daughter also had an appt. total time she spent in office 5 &1/2 hrs.

Horrible! I had to take my 5 star rating and drop it down to 1. I would give zero if I could. This rating is based solely on the rude lady that answers the phone. Bonnie, Bunny? I went to a walk in clinic and was tested for Covid. That office told me to call my primary care dr and tell them. So I did. I told her I had some of the symptoms and that they told me to call. She said for me to go to ER. ? I just got out of the dr office. I’m sick and need to be in bed. I told her I didn’t want to go (I didn’t want to get Covid if I wasn’t positive) She laughed and said so you have Covid symptoms but you won’t go to er bc you’re afraid of getting it? Umm yes. Why would I go on to er as soon as I leave the dr office anyway? And I don’t want to be exposed to anything else while I’m so sick. They wouldn’t be able to do anything. Well guess what!? I DIDNT have Covid! I am so glad I didn’t listen to the hateful lady.

Very knowledgeable about a variety of illnesses and the medications to treat them. He treats his patients with respect and spends time going over everything with you. If he finds a condition he doesn’t treat, he will recommend several specialists to you. I highly recommend Dr. Akisanya.

Dr A was my doctor for 2 years.Never had a serious illness in that time, just got monthly preperscribed meds from other docs. But ended up with a serious ailment. Went to him. He looked at me across the room, and pronounced I did not have a skin ailment. No exam, and even tho I asked for a scraping for parasites, he refused. He gave me meds, later I found out he shorted me 2 full days of the meds, I did not get well. Problem got worse. I called to let him know and was told "not to come back"

Dr Akisanya is not my doctor, thx God. I meet him around my gma bedside while she was in the hospital. He asked us do she have a dnr, being that my gma was not in a coma r dumb a tear roll from her eye. He told us she is elderly and she has alot of things going on. Dr should never have a meeting around their patients bed. Then my mother n law got sick being that we are military we didn't know who her dr was, as we sat there until 10pm dr came n and yes it was him and I slid out of the recliner.

Very good Doctor & Staff, but waiting time is ridiculous. Have waited 4 hrs & left still not seeing Doctor and at the least 3 hrs to see main Doctor. They will set appointments up at 9 am knowing the Doctor will not be in until 10:30 or 11:00. If you have complaint about wait time or disagree with what's going on instead of talking about it WITH you will be ask to leave & not come back. But Nurse Practitioner is Fantastic
