Meh
Very insensitive, doesn't care about you on a level of genuine concern for your health. Just throws things your way and hopes it fixes it. Tried to prescribe me a medication without looking into or even asking my mental/medical background. I would have taken a medication that would worsen my depression and anxiety. Luckily my primary care Dr told me to not take this medication. I am definitely looking into another wellspace location and OBGYN. I have had a lovely handful of OBGYNs over the years, she is the worst.

Dr. Olga Thorne saw me for an initial visit to remove my IUD as well as a follow-up visit to place a new one. It wasn't my first time getting an IUD so I knew what to expect. That said, Dr. Thorne didn't tell me when she was "going in," then proceeded to crank the speculum over and over, remove it, and make comments about my "long vagina," sending the assistant to find a different tool. She complained that due to my body, she couldn't see my cervix well, even though she never even turned on the exam light next to her. She was unpleasant, but I came back for the follow-up as a means to an end. When I returned, she left me lying spread-eagle in the stirrups with a speculum inserted for 5 minutes while she left the room, no explanation or apology. During insertion of the IUD, she didn't hold the speculum and it FELL OUT of me. She didn't double check if the IUD came out too or not. She went to trim the strings and instead snipped MY labia, causing me to bleed. No apology. Awful.

Dr. Olga Thorn is very insensitive, a doctor only for the money. She prescribed me a medication that did not work for me, on my follow up visit she didnt even ask me about my side effects she brushed me off everytime I asked a question or had concerns. She referrenced that the testing I was asking for was "too expensive "as if I cant afford healthcare services. I have amazing insurance but I feel like she was judging me because I am african american, saying "oh that is expensive " anytime I asked about testing. Also her and her nurse were rushing to get me out of there because they were about to close but mind you they scheduled me for an end of day appointment. She did not care about me at all, she was unable to access my labs for the second time and asked me to RETAKE THEM, how crazy is that!? Its a huge run around and no answers to my questions and she was rude. Literally no support and I am pissed. Will never go back to see her again. She should not be working in women's health.

Still dealing with the aftermath of her neglected care after my tubal ligation in November 2016. She said I was the first patient she ever had that was admitted after a tubal ligation that was supposed to be going home a few hours later. She went on vacation the next day and left me without communicating with the doctor's who were supposed to be helping me recover. Never checked in to see what was going on and every doctor that came in seemed to not be informed of my situation. Thanks alot Dr.
