I wish I could leave a zero star review. This doctor was not familiar with my birth plan nor was she even aware of my healthcare needs. Her objective was obviously to get my baby delivered fast, at my own and my baby's detriment. She made the delivery of my baby more stressful and painful than it should have been. I had to explain several times, during worsening contractions that I did not want my water broken, I wanted an epidural. Her reaction and manner makes me suspect that she was dawdling to get the anesthesiologist, whom she insisted was taking care of an emergency elsewhere in the hospital. I needed antibiotics and I had to repeat several times that I would not have my water broken until I got the 2 doses of antibiotics I needed. I shouldn't have had to mention that I needed them, let alone insist that she give me the medical care I needed for the health of my baby. I pushed for 3.5 hours with my first and this time for 30 minutes, this was more painful.
