Expertise, confident, efficient, frank but kind
I was referred to Dr. Muoh by my primary care doc. I had been living with undiagnosed hereditary gout for years to the point where several gouty tophi built up in various joints. I was in pain and my activity was becoming limited. I was concerned the rest of my life would be like this. Dr. Muoh quickly diagnosed me and got me on a carefully designed course of action including allopurinol and then infusions (diet was already heavily anti-gout). I was hesitant about the infusions but she confidently guided me through my concerns with knowledge and compassion. The treatment plan started working immediately. Now nine months later all tophi are gone, no joint pain, no limits on activity. I'm fully healed and my hereditary gout is fully under control. Throughout the whole journey Dr. Muoh was outstanding. She listened carefully, addressed concerns, was firm when I needed it, but with compassion. As a bonus, her staff was a joy to see every visit. Thank you Dr. Muoh (and Dee)!

This doctor's only need is your next payment.
This doctor is indifferent, uncaring, cold, rude, and dismissive. If you are looking for a doctor who cares and will help you with your pain management or RA symptoms, you should keep looking this doctor will not care about anything you say and only her opinion counts. Keep looking and find a doctor that understands that they work for us not the other way around.

Disappointed - not very helpful
I originally went for issues with my Arthritis. But explained to her all my symptoms. I thought I might have Fibromialgia but she did not seem to be concerned with that. She was kind of dismissive & had no bedside manner. Forward a couple of yrs later. My Endocrinologists thinks I have Fibromialgia so I call the office to make an appointment and talk with the person at the office. Explain what my issues are & she says Dr. Mouh doesn't deal with Fibromialgia. I should go see someone that deals with chronic pain management ? I'm dumbfounded. Isn't the what Rheumatologist do?

DOESN’T LISTEN
I was very disappointed with my experience with Dr. Muoh. She wasn’t willing to listen to my questions and in several cases she cut me off in the middle of me asking my questions. I was referred to her by my PCP to get some guidance and insight on my illness. She went through her proposed treatment and said that it may or may not have an impact on the flare ups. I began to ask “Is there a reason…” In the midst of my question she cut me and said “As I have said. This is the best option and what we should do” and I wasn’t able to finish my question of “is there a reason to take this medication if it doesn’t effect the flare ups? Would it help slow the progression of the disease or lessen the severity?”It was very disheartening to be dismissed by her and not given the chance to speak or fully ask my questions. I got the impression that she was in a hurry and had somewhere else to be or something else to do, but my health needs and my questions were not her top priority.

This DO on her one weekend shift at the hospital tried to override the cardiologist, was rude, unprofessional and over-bearing.

Dr. Muoh diagnosed me with a devastating disease and pursed rigorous treatment. After beginning treatments, I went for a second opinion, only to find that Dr Muoh had failed to test me for this disease that she claimed I had. After further testing from another physician, we found out that I did not have the disease Muoh claimed I had. She also prescribed meds for me that were already on my allergy list. Stay far, far away from this woman!

Dr. Muoh is a very intelligent Rheumatologist. She's very knowledgeable in her field of practice. She listens!!!! and gives you great feed back on the best plan she thinks that right for you. I really like her too because she's very thorough. She has a very nice and professional staff. They are always willing to accommodate me and get me in the office. So happy my family doctor sent me to her.

Dr. Muoh is an excellent physician that goes all the way to please her patient. She is very intelligent and actually cares for the need of her patients. She gives the right prescription based on what is needed, for example I was in need of a higher dose for a pain relief medication but she insisted on the right dose which was what I needed in the end.

I had a disagreement with dr. Muoh about prescriptions for my medication but after listening to my side she took her time to explain and convince me on the best course of action for my medication. I appreciated how patient she was with me and how she treated me respectfully earning my trust.

Dr. Muoh' specializes in rheumatology. She does NOT listen to you. I had a terrible experience, and she wasted quite a big chunk of my money. I was worse off after seeing her. Don't waste your time!

She has poor communication skills. She became hostile when I tried to correct medication errors caused by office not imputing the information that they required me to fill out, instead relying on 2 year old records from previous md. I needed a copy of my blood tests because I currently do not have a primary. She became argumentative and refused. Recounted a conversation about referrals that never happened. Wanted invasive tests. Never asked how I felt. Very untrustworthy.

Dr Muoh is a wonderful physician, very intelligent, and goes above and beyond for her patients. She's very very thorough. Can't state the incident, but she had to call my PCP many times the same day to get me seen. And, being in health profession myself, I can tell that it takes a significant amount of time out of your busy schedule, which could put you behind for whole day. She's God sent for me
