Dr. Octavian Austriacu, DO

Dr. Austriacu is incredible as a provider and incredible as a primary care physician! Not only has he taken great care of my health, but also takes Care of my family which also includes family who visits from overseas! He has very welcoming staff, who welcomes with smiles!!He is lovely & excellent to speak with at every appointment. He truly takes his time & It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend becoming his patient!

Dr. Austriacu wife works with him and makes things very difficult. He tells you one thing in the office. By the time you get to the pharmacy, nothing is there. That’s because his impossible to deal with and rude with, puts in different orders. Orders that SHE thinks are okay. However, she’s not a nurse or doctor. She has no problem telling a patient to go see another doctor. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT DOCTOR WILL SAY WHATEVER TO GET YOU OUT OF THE EXAMINATION ROOM. He is not confrontational! His wife is the problem in that place.

The woman with the heavy accent was the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with. All of a sudden they no longer take HMO plans. She said they will only take PPO. Great. Luckily was able to get into a PPO. Told them I got a ppo with Humana and low and behold they don’t take that particular PPO. Then when I told her their website page says “All major insurances” she barked at me that I shouldn’t believe what’s on the internet! IT WAS THEIR OWN SITE! So I went back to my agent and told her and she looked up a different plan that says they are in network for and my agent called them and this woman yelled at her! When the agent told her that they are in the insurance system as in network this woman actually told the agent to get better at her job! The agent tried very nicely to tell her they should update their info and she hung up! So basically you can only go here if you want to pay full price for a visit. Oh and I looked at my bill, they charged me to get weighed!

I’ve been with Dr A for almost 13 years. He’s very compassionate, and goes over anything, and talks about it with me, which makes me feel comfortable. Has a good heart. God Bless him and his family Be well all ! ??

He is compassionate and thorough. He sees you as a whole person and doesn't just treat a symptom.
