Dr. Obinna Adigweme, MD

My appointment with Dr. Adigweme was my first and last. He seemed annoyed with the fact I was taking his time. I have never been treated so rudely and my concerns were brushed off. My appointment was probably in 2019. I have seen a lot of Dr’s over the years and have to say I remember him well for all the wrong reasons. I research dr’s and he had an excellent video with his office staff (while with Orlando Orthopedic’s), which was very misleading. I never responded in a review but came across his name recently and thankful he is no longer with Orlando Orthopedic’s. Bedside manner I wasn’t expecting but never was I expecting arrogance and annoyance.

Had to get 2 injections I was very scared to the point about to change my mind he shoot me I will be OK. He gained my trust by being very quick efficient and causing me barely any discomfort at all. It’s almost like I didn’t feel it. I appreciate his skills and talent and it does not go unnoticed. Thank you so much. This is a person that literally fears needles so it is a big deal for me again, thank you.

Dr. Adigweme has performed a hip replacement for me and is now treating me for my other hip.He is an amazing Doctor. He listens with concern and charts the best course for treatment.

MAJOR FAILURE - cut thru a muscleDoctor caused a lot of additional pain from the cut. No hospital communication - before or AFTER surgery. Incompetent Office Staff - Office, PA and nurse were confusing in communication and impatient in communication!. I am deaf and office did it offer assistance (as if)

Dr. Adigweme did a bilateral hip replacement on my son. When I started having hip and knee issues, he was the Dr for me. I'm very happy with Dr. Adigweme

BRILLIANT surgeon!! ZERO pain after total hip replacement, no pain meds necessary. Recovery going very well and will back to all regular fitness activities in a few more weeks. So very grateful to be Dr. Adigweme's patient!!

My first appointments were not earth shadowing because Dr. Adigweme was rather aloof but I have confronted other surgeons with the same personality trait. My goal was an excellent surgeon and he proved that unquestionably. I highly recommend him just don’t plan to be his friend.

I also needed treatment for a hip problem. He was relatively nonchalant about my hip and suggesting an injection. Amazingly it worked! I’m so excited. This was my 7th injection in 6.5 years so I was very leery. I’m thrilled and hope this will resolve my problem.

Dr Adigweme was great with my procedure and follow ups. Only problem I had was with his team. They say call or email them if needed but they don’t respond to either one. Also, didn’t submit FMLA form to person that completes it which caused a delay in form getting to my job.

After my total hip replacement I cannot recommend Dr. Adigweme enough. He made time for all of my questions and concerns. His team was amazing, incredibly responsive every time I had a question or concern. Most importantly he is an amazing surgeon. I was walking unassisted less than a week after surgery. I was walking 3 miles a day, 4 weeks after surgery. Dr. Adigweme is really, really good at his job and I am profoundly grateful.

A couple of weeks ago I had my first (and definitely last) appointment with Dr. Adigweme for severe pain I was having in my shoulder blade. When he came into the room he seemed very annoyed. As I explained my pain and what I have done so far to try to get some relief, he was dismissive and made me feel like I was imagining it. He said it is "muscular pain" and told me to see a Physical Therapist. I was uncomfortable asking questions because of his demeanor, it was clear he did not want to be there. I actually left with tears in my eyes, he had zero interest in helping me get some sort of immediate relief (i.e. type of massage to get, foam roller positions). He was awful.

Dr Adigweme was professional, asked questions, and was a good listener. Very effective treatment.

Dr. Adigweme Really listened to my issue with my knee, unlike the original ortho that put in the exactec knee. He did a very thorough work up and replaced the defective knee replacement with a new one. Would I recommend him? You doggone right I would! His nurse did an outstanding job of keeping me posted on what was going on and technicians were very compassionate. DR adigweme Gave me my life back! I can now jog, Ride a bicycle and other activities that I never thought I would ever be able to do again. Thank you DR

The Doctor was short fused, refused to engage and was pressed for time. He referred to me to a physical therapist and didn't even fill the form out directly. Very unsatisfied.
