Dr. Nyota Peace, MD

Visited Dr peace hoping I?d found a gyno who would treat me like a human & found none of that. For my annual, she stormed in barely introducing herself, did not ask consent for her shadowing colleague for my FIRST ever visit with her. She asked for my concerns & answered like she was in a rush. Just to find her leaning against a wall chatting away while my blood was being taken? she could?ve taken another 2 minutes in the room with me to get familiar with her new patient. But Dr Peace cares to be in and out, I think she?d be better suited as an urgent care doctor. I had an emergent concern a few weeks later & had no choice but to see Peace because time was of the essence. Not only did she make me feel rushed again but she dismissed my concerned & gave me attitude. I would never ever recommend anyone to her. It?s disappointing how many female gynecologists treat us women like we?re a burden in this field that THEY chose to work in?

Wow, Dr. Peace is an amazing OBGYN doctor. I called her super women because she truly cares about her patients and their well being. I was a high risk pregnancy and she made sure that baby and myself were healthy. She made an effort to make sure she was there for birth of my child. I am amazed by her calm demeanor and intelligence. Her staff was wonderful as well. Yes you might have to wait and watch Deal or No Deal on repeat but it’s worth the care. Thank you Dr. Peace and staff!

Dr. Peace is amazing. I suffered a horrible pregnancy prior to her. She helped me through all my issues and anxiety during my second pregnancy. I always felt comfortable and everyone in her staff was amazing and patient with me as well. She's the reason my son got here safe and sound ! I'd recommend her to anyone and everyone!

I was a new patient going to see Dr. Peace for the first time. I arrive, fill out my forms and when I return them the girl who gave me the forms says the Doctor herself had surgery and I was going to be seen by a PA. I asked why I didn't receive a phone call (as did all of the other patients) and was just told they did not know about it. How can you not call patients (especially new ones) and let them know that the DOCTOR is not going to be at your DOCTOR'S appointment? Since there was no doctor I waited. When I finally asked how long it would be "oh you should be next." They call two people before me so I got up and asked for my paperwork back. HUGE lack of communication. I have no issues with PA's at all but have the courtesy to call and let a new patient know the doctor you made and appointment with is NOT going to be there. They had all day to call me. My appointment was at 4:15pm. I walked out after 4:45pm never having been seen.

I absolutely love Dr. Peace. She is a seasoned doctor that understands women’s bodies. Dr. Peace performed a surgery on me that went well. I was actually scared to get it done but her truthful professionalism allowed me to have the procedure confidently. Dr. Peace name is well respected amongst staff members, nurses, hospital staff and so on. Thank you for everything Dr. Peace.

Dr. Peace is a kind, gentle, clean & professional woman & Doctor ; however I cannot say the same about staffing behind the desk/phone lines. I have been trying for several days to reschedule a much needed appointment. However, it’s very difficult to get thru to anyone & when you do get someone you’re put on hold & forgotten about. Twice I waited 10+ minutes & hung up called back (during business hours) & got a busy signal for hours on end. I subsequently missed my appointment & need to reschedul

Love her she is so good best obgyn I know would used anyone else she delivered my son one to one doctor she there when ever you need her .

I went for an appointment and Dr. Peace unloaded some heavy, upsetting news on me and I was in shock. I started asking questions that Kept popping in my head and that disrespectful doctor responded with, "don't worry I'll give you a brochure with all the information you need on it". She walked out. None of my questions were answered in the lousy packet they found online.

Horrible. She told me I had endometriosis, that was a lie. I got a second opinion and I'm glad I did. I don't have endometriosis, I was put on a pointless injection that made me feel so bad that I could not function. All the while she refused to do the laparoscopic surgery to determine if it was. I went through so much when in reality I didn't even need to. She didn't listen to anything I said. That's not fair.

Dr peace is truly an amazing professional. She is explainatory, she listens and cares so deeply. I have been to so many Obgyns before I found her and she has made the search worth it! A true gem, I am so grateful for her! -

I love Dr. Peace. My husband recommended me to her practice when she was at Metropolitan OBGYN in Maplewood and upon transferring to Clifton OBGYN we without a doubt followed her. I love the vibrant energy at Clifton. I'll be honest my wait at Clifton is annoying while at Maplewood I never had to wait. I came on time and was seen on time. Dr. peace lost weight from Metro to Clifton and she looks more lively and at peace at this location. I love her services and the office's caring attitude.

I looked for Dr Peace since she used to work at a doctors office I used for many years. However the quality of care and the responsiveness diminished. I am so glad i made the change. The office staff is polite, warm, and give a feeling that they actually care. You can tell by how they interact with each other that they do not hate being there which lends to a better patient experience. Dr Peace seems very down to earth and i connected with her from the 1st visit.

I cannot speak highly enough about the entire staff at Clifton OB/GYN. From the front desk, medical assistants, nurses to the doctors. They possess a kindness and level of human care that is rare these days. Someone always picks up the phone, they make it easy to make an appointment, the facility is clean and cheery, & you feel like everyone truly cares. When I wasn't feel well after a procedure, they stayed late and by my side, then called me the next morning make sure I was OK. That is care.

I love DR peace...she saved my life literally !!!!

I am happy to say Dr. Peace is the type of doctor you look forward to seeing. Visits are always pleasant and informative.

Finding a good Doctor is not an easy task. I've been in such pain and fearful for a great amount of time. I knew I needed to have surgey. I went for a consult and met Dr. Peace. She was confident and friendly. I am two months post op and doing well. I look forward to returning to her for prenatal care in the near future.

Dr. Peace is very professional, kind & friendly. She took her time, listened & answered all my questions. I did not feel rushed during my visit. She also helped me to feel very comfortable during my exam. I would definitely refer her to family, friends & associates. Cindy D.
