Never needed surgery
I moved here from CA and was told my hip was fine. Continued to have pain in left leg. He told me needed hip replacement. Shortly after surgery had same pain. It was vascular! Needed stent. Walked out with no pain. Five years later all sorts of problems from replacement. Be happy he moved out of Florida!

If they had never I would give that. Unless you want to be greeted by a very large DOG, that no one tells you about, and want knee replacement go else where. Waited a verrrrry long time to get back to room. Then he came in and looked a X-Ray and said that "knee is in bad shape" you can either have knee replacement or cortisone shot. All the while trying to convince me that the dog was friendly. He never even told what was wrong with my knee !

Tries to get in and out of office visits in two or three minutes. Over prescribed oxiconde. Fortunately, I knew better than to take it except for the first two days after rotator cuff surgery.

I had surgery on February 7, and now it is April 14, 2017 and I am in more pair than before the surgery. I saw Dr. Palmer in early April and he, without even looking at my knee, told me that this was as good as it was going to get. I can not tell you the burning pain I am in on a daily basis. If you have any other choices, take one. I know they say they are the "Surgeons to the Mets, BUT don't let that fool you as I was fooled. My knee is worst now than before surgery. I doubt this ...

Dr Palmeri did the WRONG surgery on my right knee !!! Kept me in PT for 18 months and when I was getting worse, instead of doing another MRI and finding out he messed up, he told me "you had a problem, we did surgery, made you worse, Go find someone else to fix it" verbatim! WOULDN'T LET HIM CHECK OUT MY CAT!!

I definitely would not recommend Dr. Palmari. Knowing nothing about knee replacements, he. Assured me he was the best! (And he is the head of the practice. ) He told me that he had shelves of replacement knee parts right in the surgery room, so he could pick and choose till he got the perfect fit. That sounded good to me. Of course, I did not know that some other doctors in the very same office had begun using 8 to 10 years ago a much better method for a perfect fit.

What a schmoozer. First visit.... this doctor was all charm, and jokes. He put me completely at ease. After the surgery, I felt like I was in a completley different doctor's office. He brought his large german shephard into the examining room. This was a little off putting. My hip is ruined. He and Dr Putney have dismissed me and recommended a pain management doctor. Really!!!!! I don't my pain managed. I want my hip and knee pain dealt with. I am now completely disabled.

Went in for routine arthro...came out with knee worse than it ever was...I totally reqret letting this Dr. work on me. I would not put a review forth that was not truthful. Went back a few times because it hurt so bad.Got the requisite cortizone injection, short term fix... but my knee always went back to worse than it was before he touched it. Now, because I walk favoring that knee, my hips out of whack, so I'm looking at surgery on it. This is unacceptable. My athletic life is over. shameful
