I have worked in the OR for many years. I would avoid this surgeon. My recommendation is to see one of the neurosurgeons at Miami Valley instead of her. She takes 3 times as long to do the same cases. Not a good surgeon by any stretch of the imagination. Take it from an experienced veteran.

When I entered Suite 160, it was unclear to me where the receptionist desks were because they were not visible (they were around the corner to the right). The only desk I could see to the immediate right was unoccupied. As I was standing there, looking to figure out where I check in, a receptionist walked right by me, and did not say anything. I then realized where she went, so I walked over there, and was then able to check in. I would've expected that she would've asked "can I help you?" when she saw me standing there at the entrance, but she basically ignored me.

I was very well pleased with Dr. Foster. She took the time to read a previous surgery report from many years ago that I brought with me. She listened to my descriptions of pain that I was having. She showed me the current x-rays that were taken at her office. Although she said that surgical intervention couldn't help me, she ordered physical therapy sessions and instructed me to call if that didn't help. She also took the time to engage in conversation with me. Again, I am very well pleased that I saw Dr. Foster.

I know Dr Foster kept it simple and easy for anyone to understand what was going on with them. I've been to other doctors to try to explain things and couldn't understand ask questions no answer. She explained things I asked questions she explained things to where I could understand.
