Saves lives
Dr. Wride is amazing and cared for my mother. She was in a desperate condition requiring emergency surgery. It was midnight on New Year’s night, and without hesitation he stated what needed to happen, got consent, and performed this high risk procedure. Without a doubt, he saved her life. I certainly know and acknowledge many others’ role in what happened, but without him, she would have not made it through the night. It made it all the better when the nursing staff each would say how talented he is and how good he is to work with.

I was referred to Dr. Wride for a hernia from an ER doctor. He was nice and explained things well during my appointment. It was hard to find his office though.  I think the hospital grounds could be better marked and labeled.  There was some confusion with the scheduling of my surgery.  I think I was on hold for a while until I was able to talk to the right person about when and where to go.  He found 2 hernias during my surgery and both were fixed.  I had pain for about a good week, and the pain pills I was given barely lasted long enough.  Overall now, I feel good and the hernia doesn't bother me anymore so I think the surgery was a success.

Dr. Wride took care of my mother in the hospital. She was transferred from a different hospital for emergency surgery because her intestines were twisted. He took care of her quickly and she recovered well after surgery.

Not very helpful when he assisted another surgeon in a surgery I had. He refused to see me when there were complications with my surgical incision and the primary surgeon was on vacation. His comment was that is Dr.- incision and wouldn’t help me. In the beginning he was a very nice provider and spent a lot of time with me during my pre-operative appointment. However, after there were complications he was no longer friendly and blamed me for the problems. There were multiple complications after surgery. I developed a post-operative hematoma, was anemic, and experiencing malnutrition. He tried to be friendly to me while I was in the hospital, however it seemed as though he didn’t want to be involved in the case after complications arose.
