Dr. Rosen is unambiguously one of the top doctors in his headache specialty. He spent over an hour with me during my initial visit. He carefully listened to and documented my history. He carefully reviewed my case and explained my options. He then made a plan for treatment to address my problem. He was simply exceptional!

Doesn’t give refills timely! I’m going on 3 weeks and still don’t have the medicine in my hands. I call them repeatedly to check in and they keep marking it as urgent but I guess it doesn’t mean anything. I had 10 days supply of medication and it took 14 days to go to the correct pharmacy. It would have been shorter if the doctor read the case notes. It should only take a maximum of 3 days to refill a prescription. CVS has it now but my insurance needs an authorization from the doctor. CVS sent it to the doctor 2x but got a reject response from their system. I’m guessing somethings wrong with their system but they didn’t seem to care. They said they’d urgently do the authorization today but I’m still waiting 2 business days later...I gave feedback that a previous insurance asked for auth too so maybe they can do it upfront to shorten wait times. They didn’t take the feedback and reminded me to call it in and give 5 days notice. I gave 10 and a similar thing happened last year too...

Dr. Rosen is a rare gem. And not only because Headache Specialists are so few and far between. His knowledge, compassion & bedside manner are simply unmatched. Even in the most dire moments, just talking to him makes me feel a bit better & more hopeful. He is an extremely skilled educator and that serves him well in a clinical setting as he completely involves his patients in their care/treatment plans. There isn’t enough space to explain all the reasons why I recommend him to everyone!

Would not recommend as he prescribed full doses of B2 and coQ10 which upset my stomach and neglected to advise me to start with a smaller dose. I send a letter and he never responded to me.
