Dr Converse performed a Lumbar Discectomy on my back on Dec 20, 2022. I had been in pain for months. After surgery the pain was completely gone. I felt like Dr Converse had given me my life back and at 87 years old I feel like I need all the life I can get. To my mind Dr Converse is an AWESOME Neuro Surgeon and I will recommend him to everyone.

Paralized for Life
Dr. Converse performed the surgery to in-plant a Spinal Cord Stimulation Device that would have reduce my back pain, but instead injured my spinal cord that paralyzed my left leg, I am now not able to stand/walk, have regular bow moments and continuous UTIs. My life has been downhill since he performed this surgery and would not recommend anyone to him for this or similar back surgery.

I had three surgeries by Dr Converse 1st was on my lower back in January 2019 the procedure was TLIF of the L5 -S1 I have me pain free since the surgery. In January 20 had surgery going thru the front of my neck and i rolled over on to my stomach in recovery causing a complication so in February 2020 he did the second one and he went thru the back and when I went back in December 2020 he released from his care and advised that the front and the back also fused together better then he expected. As of July 2021 a I have been pain free for over a year. I highly recommend Dr Converse for any one with Spine problems. I thank him every day for his work. I suffered for over 20 years. Yes I do have limitations as to certain things. And there is no loss of movement. From what had already occurred before visiting him.

Wife has chronic, debilitating back pain. She has had surgery to fix bone on bone in lumbar but has issues in thoracic now. She went to the emergency room (4th visit) for extreme back pain and partial paralysis. They called Dr. Converse who told her unless she had lost all bowel control and was completely paralyzed that she was never to return to the ER or have them call him again. Don't worry, there are other doctors. See this man at your own risk and do not expect him to give you the time of day or care about your needs as a patient. He is much more concerned about his golf game. Would give zero stars if possible.

Six months ago I was in a terrible auto accident and my back was broken. Fortunately my spinal column was not cut. I was flown by helicopter to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center where Dr Converse operated on my spine, preserving my spinal column. He saw me soon after the surgery and then again about 2 months later. He spent time with me, helping me understand both what had happened to my spine, but also what he did to help stabilize my spine as well as clean out bits of bone and disc from behind my spinal column. I firmly believe that Dr Converse not only saved my life, but also saved my spine and gave me the best possible chance of preserving my quality of life. I am slowly regaining my ability to walk, and feeling is coming back to my lower body. I am so grateful for Dr. Converse and his staff. It amazes me that anyone can be so educated and skilled to work on such a sensitive part of the body, while still taking the time to help the patient understand. I highly recommend him!

OUTSTANDIND DOCTOR!!!!!! Very professional. I had sciatic nerve pain for years. The pain made me so tired all of the time. I didn't want to go anywhere or do anything ever because it was so taxing on my body. Dr. Converse and his staff were very professional and made me feel like they cared about my every medical need while I was in for surgery. It has been three weeks since my surgery and I feel 1000 times better! Could not ask for a better Doctor and staff! THANK Y'ALL SO MUCH!!!

Answered questions to my satisfaction and told me exactly what to expect. Four weeks post-surgery, pain all but gone and no more daily headaches. All the nurses at FWB Med sing his praises. IMO that is more revealing than internet reviews. Hope I never need him again, but If I do I hope he's still here.

I went to Dr. Converse with severe sciatic nerve pain. After an exam and a review of my imaging he offered a less drastic approach than vertebrae fusion. I accepted his guidance and proceeded with the operation. After a two week recovery I can sleep through the night without being woken by pain. I’m walking without pain and observe daily improvements. My results are impressive from my perspective. I gave Dr. Converse 5 stars without reservation. He is a talented, highly skilled Surgeon and his friendly, exceptionally competent Staff are timely, efficient and thorough.

The entire experience was professional and informative enough for me to make decisions needed prior to my surgery. His staff were/are incredible. I never waiting for an scheduled appointment, very efficient office. I’m 5 weeks post surgery but ALL original issues are gone. I just need to be a good patient and listen and do as told for the fusion and surgery sights to heal. BTW a shoutout to Nurse Deb. See you in August.

My neurosurgeon is Dr Noah Converse. I came to his office with bulging discs and in awful pain. The entire staff was incredibly sympathetic and wonderful to me . Dr Converse was compassionate, knowledgeable and professional and put me at ease immediately despite my terrible pain. within days all of my pre-surgery test were done and my next consult appt with Dr Converse was made. His staff is incredible, his nurse Debbie is amazing. There is only one NeuroSurgeon for me and that is Dr Converse.
