Exceptional Surgeon
Dr. Rangnekar has performed two extensive surgeries on an unexpected life threatening condition. He is a focused and gifted surgeon. He knows his stuff, he’s all business and you couldn’t be in better hands. He keeps you informed and is honest and straightforward. If you have a serious medical problem, this is the man you want in your corner!

A Doctor's Doctor!
Dr. Rangnekar has taken care of my mother with multiple co-morbidities (that complicate her GI issues) for over the past 5 years, with tremendous wisdom, talent, compassion and patience. He knows when to perform a needed procedure and when to hold off to see if the issue is self-limiting. Mom never feels rushed or pushed. He is truly a Doctor's Doctor.

Office staff will leave you hanging. Needed important paperwork filled out and was left twisting in the wind. Impossible to contact. Can not get test results, can not get follow-up information. Doctor seemed knowledgeable but his staff need to be replaced. Best to stay as far as possible away from this provider. Oh, they did make sure I knew I had a bill though, immediately.

Dr. Regnekar has been treating me for my GI problems since I was admitted to the hospital several years again. He has great bedside manner, listens and cares about his patients care and follow up. His staff is very friendly and caring and I have continued to see him.

Dr. Rangnekar has excellent bedside manners and is not a physician who wants to just operate on you! He looks out for what is best for you! He does the least invassive surgery possible for your healing time to be minimal! Thank you Dr. Rangnekar for taking care of my entire family and a lot of my friends! You are amazing!

Run away from this man! He literally almost caused my death. Disregarded my heart condition and ignored a partial bowel obstruction. UT saved my life after this person sent me home, kicked me out of Tennova still very ill and a heart rhythm that was far from healthy. Refused my request for an ekg.

Dr Rangnekar is one of the most humble doctors I know. He is very good at what he does. This man has helped me over the years, and without God 1st then Dr Rangnekar, I would still be seeking help. I don't know what others have really experienced. But he's a great Doctor. He's not for small talk, but he gets to the point.

Office staff forgot to order CT, lied about what was being done with the results and lied to Dr. Rangnekar about what the issues really were. Dr. Rangnekar treated me differently afterwards, I do not value his opinion anymore, he did not ask me about the issues either. In stead he assume that his office staff was in the right and didn't ask me what really happen. I did not volunteer any information as it seemed to me he was done treating me and he disregarded me.

i would not recommend this Dr. To anyone. He is egotistical. Bed side manners are not always important when picking a surgeon but after care is.

Recent gastro intestinal problems and anemia. A colonoscopy and endoscopy for diagnostic workup revealed cause of problems. Dr. Rangnekar was excellent at explaining procedures to both my husband and me and reassuring us of effective treatment.
