Did Not Listen or Read My Chart
Dr. Gaikwad was referred to me after my previous doctor retired from the same practice. When Dr. Gaikwad went over routine lab results with me and made a recommendation for a prescription, I advised him of a previous test which was in my file that showed that the medicine he wanted to prescribe was unnecessary. He wasn't even aware of the test results because he hadn't even read my chart before the visit. He then left the room for about 10 minutes to review my chart which he should have done before my appointment. There were two other test results that he didn't know about because he didn't read my chart. I was wanting to discuss some problems I was having and he kept shaking my hand and tried to leave the room without listening to me. He then told me that I needed to make an appointment with a nurse practitioner in his practice. Really? I could have gone to her first if he wasn't going to do anything. He is very interested in my health and well-being. He asks pertinent questions and listens to what I have to say. It is apparent that he wants me to have success in using my CPAP and have a better night’s sleep. He takes the time to make sure I understand everything. He is a WONDERFUL doctor who cares about his patients.

This appointment was a disaster. After being there for over an hour filling out paperwork, this doctor came in for 15 seconds, had not read my information, asked me 2 questions, left the room looking for his nurse. Didn’t return. I waited for a few minutes, stepped out to find him or his nurse. Nobody around and this doc had gone into another room with another patient. I left this office. Do not recommend this doc to anyone !!
