You probably won't choose this MD, since the transplant nephrologist post-transplant is generally on staff a the hospital that did the plumbing. Dr Goyal is great - he knew all the details of a drug I took that other MDs had to look up. He also does not hesitate to refer patients to other specialists, or consult with them on his own, for issues outside his specialty even if he is reasonably sure he already knows the answer. If you have your kidney transplant at Tufts, you willl find youself in good hands with Dr Goyal.
