Dr. Nisha Shah, MD

I had unsolved GI issues for 5 years. I needed a new GI doctor and got a referral for Dr. Shah. My appt with her was the most uncomfortable dr appointment I've ever had. Everything I told her got a response like 'I can't remember that you're telling me too much information...' &I was trying to say I've noticed symptoms come about after eating leafy greens, raw veggies, and nuts. After the first 5 minutes of the appt I didnt get in more than 5 words and just got talked at. I had a panic attack in office over the lack of care about what I've been experiencing. I had tears streaming down my face &slight, sparse hyperventilating, definitely noticable. She never said anything about it, she continued talking at me until the end of the appointment & told me to keep eating things i already KNOW are triggers &write about it in a daily diary. (thats not too much info?) but i left still crying &she goes 'it was nice meeting u see u in 6wks.' Will never go to Shah again&will steer others far away

Dr. Shah is amazing. I have gone to her several years now. She is on time, empathetic and takes time to explain everything. I never have felt rushed and have always felt like she really listens. I highly recommend her.

Didn’t feel like she listened to what I was saying and was very condescending.

She was nice enough but not very helpful. Appointment felt a bit rushed. She mostly looked at the computer the whole time. She diagnosed me accurately I think, but didn't offer me any treatment options. I wouldn't go back.
