Dr. Desai has been an amazing doctor to our daughter who has alopecia. We are so thankful we found her! Her entire staff is extremely friendly and so helpful.

Treated like CATTLE, A NUMBER A LAB RAT. 'My way..
Had someone else experienced anything remotely similar to this review, and shared it anywhere, I would never have chosen this provider. Instead she’s painted as a perfect caring diverse caregiver. I visited her on Tuesday 11/21/23. This is my PERSONAL EXPERIENCE1. Dr Desai forced an intern on me as though I had no choice; AFTER I WAS ROOMED. Mind you, No one, not one person in her office, nor did any of the many text and appointment reminders, preadvise or forewarn me that Tuesday is her OHSU Intern/teaching day prior to my arrival. I was treated like cattle, like I did not have a choice. I have work insurance not state insurance. I expected to be presented with the information and the ability to opt out or give written consent. In a teaching hospital, it is understood students are everywhere and still patients are respected and given enough consideration to be asked prior to arrival. I have previously experienced this with Stanford University Hospital. My dignity was never stripped t

This doctor should not be certified to give lip injections. I ended up with clumps of filler in my top lip that looked lumpy and gross when I smiled or opened my mouth at all. When I came back in to have it fixed with the rest of my syringe (which was more than half full) she only used a tiny amount to try and fix the damage, and failed to tell me I only had a matter of weeks to use the rest of my $500 syringe. It was a complete waste of money and I feel horrible about going here.

After seeing 3 other dermatologists for hair loss, I now understand why it takes 3 months to get in to see Dr. Desai. She actually takes the time to listen, will look at prior labs and scalp biopsy, with a critical eye, and shocking will actually take the time to look at my scalp. I can't recommend her enough. Don't look anywhere else of you have hair loss. She's the best!

Amazing person and dermatologist. She is so personal and actually LISTENS to your concerns. I highly recommended her to anyone looking for someone who is down to earth and extremely bright.
