Great surgeon and staff
Dr. Naik and his entire staff are wonderful! He removed my gallbladder. No complications, and very attentive providers!! Great communicator and surgeon. If I ever need another abdominal surgery, Dr. Naik will get my call.

It was my first surgery and Naik made me feel comfortable. I appreciated the way he was very upfront and honest about the surgery I got. Every time I came in for a follow up he made me feel that he was more concerned about my health then me jumping into getting the surgery, by far this is the best decision I’ve ever made and I’m so happy that it was done by Dr. Niak.

Dr. Naik offers LINX ®, a new laparoscopic procedure to treat GERD. This procedure involves a string of metal beads that are drawn together by a magnet. When this string is placed around the lower esophagus, the magnet pulls the beads together and closes off the esophagus from the stomach.

First of all my review is really 0 stars. I was diagnosed with a left small fat containing inguinal hernia. I brought Dr. Naik the CD from the ER where I had the CT Scan done. Mind you I didn't have a bulge or anything sticking out of my abdomen and he told me as he looked at the images 3 times "I don't see a hernia" then he goes and says "oh there it is it's just a small piece of fat, I'll go in and place mesh and you'll be good for the rest of your life". I scheduled surgery the next following week with no conversation about complications or risks of this mesh he put inside my body. Before being discharged from surgery I was rushed to go home, the nurses didn't make me urinate or anything before being discharged. Within a couple hours after going home I went to urinate and suddenly I felt something was wrong on the right side of my abdomen where one of his incisions was. Burning sensation with urination, I felt as if my ureter was cut or knicked.

Great Dr. Easy to talk to. Talks to you in manner which is like a real discussion rather than Dr. speak. Legitimately concerned and ensures you understand the details of the procedure.

He's wonderful, he took me out of a bad medical situation that I was miserable in after 5 months after a necessary surgery. He took care of me & fixed what he felt was being ignored. I feel so much better, I'm pain free & will continue to see Dr. Naik if he'll keep me as a patient.

Wants you to lose like 30 pounds in a month, its is crazy to me because if I could lose weight on my own then i wouldn't be asking for the surgery to begin with! My friends and I saw our surgeon around the same time and they had their Sleeve done within 2 weeks. They're doing great! Meanwhile I am going on 5 months of waiting, I've continued to lose weight at my own pace, just not enough to satisfy Naik. Anyway just wanted to share my experience. So now I am working on switching surgeons.

Dr Naik is easy to talk to and encourages questions about any aspect of treatment. Works to match insurance and make the treatment as affective as possible. He presents his weight loss procedures to groups and has an excellent presentation where it was easy to understand the choices and how those choices become tools for weight loss. He effectively repaired my wife's hernia during the operation. He is a good man and should be trusted. He is passionate about his work.

He is the most unconcerned doctor I have ever run into. he was not available in the hospital after my surgery when there were so many difficulties., And at the check-up later in his office he made wait two hours then had me see his pa, even thought he was at the office at the time. when I discussed the problems I had, he sent hise placed the blame on the hospital.to make matters worst, I keep battling with my insurance because he is out of network.

Dr. Naik is awesome! My husband had to have a portacath and peg tube put for his chemo and radiation. Dr. Naik went above and beyond taking care of my husband. He explained everything he was going to do and again explained everything when he was done. Hi staff is very friendly, helpful and courteous. I would definitely recommend Dr. Naik!

This was my second surgery from Dr. Naik and I couldn't be more pleased. 6 years ago, I had an umbilical hernia repair and the results were excellent. Two weeks ago, I had a bi-lateral hernia repair and I just returned from my follow-up. Again, I couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome of my newest surgery. I have just been cleared for normal living once again. Thank you, Dr. Naik.

I had surgery to repair three hernias, and my surgery went perfectly. I had questions during recovery, but the doctor returned my call during the Christmas holiday and spoke to me to reassure that my recovery concerns were normal and that I was doing fine. The staff is patient and caring. Also, the office gave me additional appointments as I requested, fitting me in on a short notice. I am a natural worry wart, and with each new visit to Dr. Naik, my fears disappeared.

He seems like a professional and honest doctor. However, his staff is horrible. They are rude and give vague information on purpose just to get money out of people. Because of that, I will not be going back and encourage other people to avoid places like these. They will do their best to make sure that you only cancel your appointment within the 24 hours time frame, and will take your money regardless of your reason for re-scheduling or the fact that you are a new patient. Dissapointing!

Unfortunately during the past year, different members of my family required surgery. In attempt to receive the best possible care, personal medical friends recommended Dr. Naik. The recommendations was the best possible advice. He was professional, personable and skilled. Thank God no family members suffered complications.

Lies, deception and 2 life threatening trips to the ER after I let this quack near me with a sharp object. He grossly underrepresented the severity and risk of the surgery then sent me home in a condition that landed in the Emergency Room with life threatening complications. Twice. It goes down hill from there he railroaded me into an out-of-network facility. I was assured several times that they would accept my insurance. Lies. Now I'm left with thousands of dollars in out of network expenses.

Dr. Naik spent a good amount of time answering my questions, explaining procedures and also reviewing my medications. His staff were professional and respectful. Unlike some of the offices I had gone to in Bakersfield, this office treated me with far more respect and courtesy. I NEVER felt rushed by the doctor or his staff! I felt I mattered as a patient!
