Insensitive, rolls her eyes when you begin to ask questions about labor and delivery options. Appointments feel rushed. Poor bedside manners. Was hoping for a better experience this time around.

Dr. Ghia very friendly and explained everything clearly. She's my OB doctor for 28 years.

Never had a Pap smear feel like a shoving in, hurt, and make me BLEED like actual stream of blood. Not just spotting. She was rude right off the bat about some medical thing she disagreed about, but didn’t explain it - just raises her voice and condescended “we don’t do that”. Just altogether very rude.

She was very professional, patient and kind. She took the time to put me at ease and answered all of my questions and concerns. Would definitely recommend. Her staff was also kind, professional, and helpful.

Dr. Ghia has been my OB/GYN since I was 18 yrs old (17 yrs ago) and knows my history. She became my very first OB/GYN when I had a pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage and she was very empathetic about the situation which made me love her as a person and doctor instantly! She delivered my oldest son and continues to be a rockstar doctor!

Dr. Ghia has been my gynecologist for many years. I have always loved her for her compassion and knowledge. She has always been very friendly and kind as well. I would recommend her all day long.

Dr. Ghia has been my gynecologist for nearly 10 years and it’s my absolute favorite doctor. She is very thorough, listens to concerns, and is compassionate in her patient care. I’ve had past experiences with doctors that are dismissive of issues and it’s incredibly refreshing to have a doctor that cares about her patients. Wait times are low, but she still manages to take her time in your appointment and doesn’t make you feel rushed. I always have a lot of questions, which she patiently answers and asks if I have any follow up questions or need more explanation. Also, she performs the most gentle pap smears I’ve experienced.

Dr. Ghia was very thorough,understanding, knowledgeable about everything that I was dealing with physically. She took the time to explain what I needed to know, so would definitely recommend her to a friend.

Dr. Ghia fit me in when needed. She explained everything that was going to happen and was quick. Always thorough.

Appointment was rushed (15wks pregnant), she seemed to not care about my on going bleeding issue while pregnant, and only gallstones that I haven't had a single issue with this far at all. When I told her the last doctor had mentioned he wanted a follow up bedside ultrasound this appointment to make sure things still looked good with the bleeding, she replied with, "Why...it wont change anything..". So rude and uncaring. Made me so uncomfortable!

Dr. Ghia has been my OBGYN for over 17 years. She treated me successfully several time for various complications. I appreciate the fact that she listens to my concerns and offers answers and explanations. I strongly recommend her.

When my long-time Gyne retired, I chose Dr Ghia as a result of the care she gave a friend of mine with post-menopausal bleeding which was careful, considered and thorough. I am a physician and appreciate a thoughtful no-nonsense, well-explained approach from a professional who knows the indications for procedures and answers questions in a straightforward manner. I have been going to Dr Ghia for over five years now.

My previous provider retired and I was very nervous about seeing someone new. Dr. Ghia put me at ease and took great care of me...I’m so happy I found her.

She is kind at at the same time efficient. She is a good doctor and I would recommend her to others. The office staff and other doctors in the practice all are a pleasure to interact with. I also appreciate the extra protocol to keep everyone safe during COVID.

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Ghia, she was very insensitive. This was my first time seeing Dr. Ghia she basically walked in the room and said she JUST wanted to talk about my health history, she came across extremely rude. Dr. Ghia made me feel extremely uncomfortable when conducting her exam, I felt violated and felt she was not listening to my concerns. Also, the information that she wrote in my chart was incorrect. I will never visit this doctor again.

I have seen Dr. Ghia for years and have always been happy. She is knowledgeable and competent. Her personality tends towards focused and businesslike which I appreciate and she and her team trust and empower their patients to be in control of their care. She even agreed to see my young teenage daughter who was having issues and I was particularly impressed with the care she took to help her feel better and in control.

Man, I guess everyone has different expectations but my experience at Elmhurst Hospital & Dr Ghia was amazing. ( gonna be a long post ..) Truthfully when I first came I was looking for someone quick just to get answers from for my concerns (Not a perm doctor) cause she's so far from my home in Indiana. But in one visit I'm confident I've found the right doctor&staff for me and will be a long term patient. Totally worth the distance. The front desk lady was so funny/easy going (I wish I got her name, an older lady with a nice accent) and Maria was super kind & had a great personality. Dr Ghia WAS very quick (She's got other patients to see so I understand!) But she answered EVERY question and concern I had & I left with real hope my problems will be addressed/fixed. She gave me answers that made sense, and diminished all of my worries. She showed genuine care for me & what I was going through, just in a stern way!
