Dismissive and Unconcerned
I have had Dr. Sanchez as a PCP for 5 years. As someone who grew up without having a doctor, this was my first experience with a PCP, and I was deeply disappointed. If you are from the Southeast side of San Antonio, you know that comes with its fair share of stereotypes, to which I believe Dr. Sanchez brought with her into her practice. In the annual visits, and occasional special follow ups, my weight ballooned each year. I would secretly document the blood pressure for each visit and inquire about it with her. She would say it wasn't anything to worry about, although the 50 additional pounds and quick Google search of my blood pressure count said otherwise. I would get nervous trying to rattle through a series of questions in hopes of my concerns being addressed with some form of seriousness. I ultimately would go to Urgent care any time I had any concerns other than my annual exam because I did not want my time wasted.

I don’t know how Dr. Sanchez has a practice, she was my wife’s Dr. for several years. My wife went in one day, she was suffering really bad from hemorrhoids and Sanchez refused to see her, my wife left and never went back. The day before my wife went to Baptist Hospital at Mission Trails and they didn’t do a thing for her either. I don’t know how they call themselves medical professionals.

I love Dr. Nina Sanchez, she is very knowledgeable and listen. Her communication skills, outstanding. However, the ladies at the front desk are new and communication skills are weak, the don't follow the sign in she, and if you don't speak up they will forget about you. It was very frustrating, to be ignored, if Dr.Sanchez wasn't as good as she is I would find another doctor.
