Dr. Ninoutchka Dejean, MD

I will start off by stating the responsiveness of the staff and the cleanliness of the center is superb. To say I was disappointed in my experience with Dr Dejean would be an understatement. There is no doubt that she is a knowledgeable physician, though I certainly would recommend amelioration in her bedside manner.. I sought out Dr Dejean as a black physician to not be part of the statistics of black women who felt misled, disappointed, and unheard by their physicians, only to come and report just that. No pain management was offered before or after the procedure, just an expectation to deal with it with no medical intervention. When following up with her office as I experienced some other side effects that are not my normal but were also documented by other individuals in studies or on internet forums, I was dismissed with a referral to another specialist. There was no conversation about my anatomy or how it could have been affected. Women’s pain should be believed and relieved.

Dr. Dejean is a compassionate doctor who puts me at ease and takes the time to explain my health concerns to me without rushing. As a patient, I have always been impressed by the wait time and her compassionate opinions. All my questions are answered immediately.She texts to remind me about the medical tests. Follow-up visits are well managed by her team. Appointments are easy to find. I was impressed with the short wait time of less than 8 minutes. She is a doctor in whom I have great confidence.I recommend Dr. Dejean to all women looking for a 5-star gynecologist.

I have been seeing Dr DeJean for more than 10 years and have visited both of her offices. I now drive 45 minutes to see her but am very happy with her and do not see the need to find a closer doctor. She has been easy to see when I have had a problem, is very easy to talk to, and is very thorough.

Dr. Dejean is one of a kind. Very knowledgeable, an active listener, personable, and result orientated. As a medical provider myself, I value her compassion, and dedication to her specialty. She is always available when needed and I feel very confident in her hands. I refer my own clients to her and hear only praise and gratitude. I never feel the need to get a second opinion and trust her 100%.

Honestly my first time coming here was for a yearly check up. As a new patient I would have thought she would have been more friendly and maybe even ask me a question about myself. Normally things like these don't bother me so I assumed she was having a bad day. I recently came back got a procedure and was talked over when I tried to ask a question. It seemed as if my questions were not valid and I did not appreciate that especially if I'm paying $30 for an office fee. As a doctor listening and trying articulate a question is better than saying I don't make sense.

I went in to see Dr. Dejean for a second opinion. We had a conversation only, no physical examination and I received a bill for just shy of $300. After various calls into the office (speaking to a different employee every time), I was assured that it was "taken care of". Months later I receive a bill from a collections office. Naturally, I call again trying to find out how that could. I was now told that none of my previous calls were logged and they couldn't help me. Even going thus far to say that "I must've not been happy with my previous doctor either" and that seeing a doctor "costs money". I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism from a doctor's office staff. Plus, this does not create an emotionally safe environment for someone who is obviously seeking help.

Today was my first appointment with Dr. Dejean. I found her office to be extremely well-run. Dani and Prudence are professional and personable. Dr. Dejean and her staff work diligently to ensure that each patient feels warmly welcome, completely at ease and totally comfortable. They tend to the entire woman's health, both physical and emotional. It is quite evident that Dr. Dejean is a highly skilled and truly caring and compassionate doctor. The entire office takes enormous pride in their work. I give Dr. Dejean and her staff my highest recommendation. I am grateful for the excellent care I received today.

Dr. Dejean is a wonderful doctor at first you're nervous when you get there but her staff is so warm and friendly that the nerves just go away. Once she's with you she make you feel so comfortable. While being examined she engages in friendly conversation. She make sure all your questions are answered and you understand everything. The only thing is she disappears really fast after she leaves the room. So you don't get to see her when you're about to leave the office. other than that she's great

Dr DeJean is very professional and very caring. She always take the time to answer all your questions and concerns, you never feel rushed. The office personal is also very polite, friendly and it's easy to have an appointment. I recommend Dr. Dejean 100 percent. I'm sure every women will love her as much as I do.

What a kind and compassionate doctor. Dr Dejean toon her time with me to make sure all of my questions were answered. She made sure I understood what she was saying and was patient with me. Came in as an emergency and wasn't really sure if I could get seen right away. No problem. Her staff was professional and friendly. I truly felt good and will transfer my medical records to this practice. OUTSTANDING medical professional
