Dr. Nieves Hornbeck, MD

She was rude and uncaring - wouldn't even listen to me. Was over an hour late for my appointment and then walked out on my and informed me we were 'done' before I able even to ask for prescription refills. The only reason she is getting one star is because I cannot leave zero stars. Stay away from this doctor!

Very informative and helpful. She addressed all my concerns and follow through with testing. She reviewed all my bloodwork results in a very clear and accurate manner. So happy to finally find a doctor that not only hears my concerns but addresses them to make sure everything is good .

Mrs. Maria Batista is a patient of Dr. Nieves and yesterday she went to ask for a letter of disability to deliver it to the apartment where she lives, and the doctor told her rudely 'That's up to them to do what they want' and he didn't write the letter. That is disrespectful to talk to a patient like that, especially when she is an older person, who really depend on doctors to be able to have healthy health.

I am swimmer and have constant problem with ear infection . I so number of doctors over the years which always prescribe me antibiotic treatment . When Dr Hornbeck saw me she proscribe antibacterial and anti fungal treatment which cure me ! She is terrific specialist ,she took a time for my examination and come up with great result. Dr. Hornbeck was wonderful she was thorough and explained everything in detail. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a new doctor.

My problem was brief but she addressed it to my satisfaction and answered my questions and explained why the medication I was asking for was probably not best for me .My condition has responded well to the medication she ordered ,so I have returned back to her for various things , though they too have been one problem each time when my local doctor was not available .

Dr Hornbeck takes care of several family members and friend I have brought to her ( as I am the driver ,etc) and she has done a wonderful job. She is a caring physician and explains everything in good detail. She does not prescribe unnecessary medications and explains this which I appreciate since some of my family is elderly. She always responds back on our calls via herself or her nurse and fills medications as soon as we ask, and reminds us if we have not followed up something that needs checking .She is very experienced and stays composed and acts respectful to us on our visits

Amazing Doctor and detailed..! no nonsense that was my experience. I was just happy to see a doctor on the weekend and my problem taken care of. She spoke perfect Spanish too my mother.

The most unprofessional blatantly rude exchange I've had with another person in years. I hesitate to refer to her as doctor; a simple question about an antibiotic incited a verbal tirade from her about how she is working on a holiday taking care OF YOUR family when I could be home with MINE! ..how dare you question my medical license! And so on. (Never mentioned her license. Just asked what was in prescription cream.) Bedside manner I do not need, basic non threatening interactions,I expect.
