Dr. Nicole Tate, MD

My first and last experience with Dr. Tate. I went in for UTI symptoms. The nurse told me to get undressed for an exam. After waiting 45 minutes, Dr. Tate came in and didn't even say hello, or introduce herself. She didn't even look at me, not once. All she had to say was put vaseline on my feet for my UTI. I was very confused, she ran to grab a nurse to explain and translate, even though I understood her well. She did not listen to anything I said about my bladder pain. She didn't even examine me down there, she just walked out and that was that. I was naked waiting over 45 minutes to not be examined and told to use vaseline. Not sure what is wrong with this doctor. She was terrible, rude, inconsiderate, standoffish. They seem to hire anyone nowadays. Just run if you see her! Don't ever make her your gyno! Save yourself!

I came in for irregular bleeding at the age of 20 and she basically told me she didn’t know why I was at the obgyn b/c she said I didn’t need to go until I turned 21. I had been going to another doctor for a yearly since I was 18 until I had Kaiser & had to go to her. When I told her I had a yearly exam the years before she asked me if it was a male who did the exam and if he had proper certification b/c I wasn’t supposed to get one until 21. WHO SAYS THAT. She’s the rudest doctor I’ve ever met.

I've been going to Dr. Tate for a few years and am going to switch doctors. Every pelvic exam is painful. She has awful listening skills. Very frowny. Always seems rushed and like my appt is an inconvenience to her.

Went here for my pap and after waiting in the waiting room an hour past my appointment time, the nurse took me into the patients room and told me to undress and the doctor would be with me in a moment. I WAITED OVER 2 HOURS IN THE PATIENTS ROOM only for her to come in and say "sorry for the wait"......When telling her the problems. Was having she completely disregarded them. This OBGYN is disrespectful and rude. Avoid if possible!!!

Today was my first visit with Dr.Tate. I was a little upset that I had to have a new doctor, but her great personality made up for that. She’s very caring, and really knows how to make you smile. I’m really excited about her being my obgyn.

Dr. Tate performed one of the most amazing Pap smears I've ever had. She made me feel comfortable and I was able to relax and it was over before I knew it. She also listens to me which I feel is important in a doctor. I love her!

Dr. Tate delivered my son and it was honestly a miserable moment with her. I required stitching following delivery which she botched. While she was stitching, she had mentioned several times she did not have good lighting and even asked me if she was "traumatizing me." I had to go to another doctor who redid the stitching months after.

She was an hour late seeing me -- and it was my first time ever seeing her. She didn't seem to take my fertility questions too seriously. Plus, it was the worst gyno appt I've ever had -- it hurt so much!
