Dr. Nickolas Tomasic, MD

My pharmacy and I have called his staff three times now (we cannot call him directly) to refill a much needed and 3 week overdue prescription and it has yet to be refilled. This is not the first time this has happened.

During the visit with this MD, he communicated a difficult diagnosis quite flippantly, said my husband would need further care, and then failed to provide any referrals for care. Dr. Tomasic said he would be submitting an order for a difficult to schedule procedure, which he then failed to submit. For ten days following the visit, Dr. Tomasic failed to close out the patient record and never submitted the order, despite repeated phone calls and even in-person visits to the office. Front desk staff were also incompetent, rude and dismissive. They repeatedly disconnected phone calls (perhaps deliberately), failed to return calls, and ultimately blatantly lied, stating an order had been sent to insurance when it had not. The insurance company actually had to call the office stating that they were awaiting the order. From front office to MD to back office, this was the worst experience we have ever had with a doctor in our more than 60 years on the planet. RUN don't walk.

I went in for a Prostate Biopsy, was pretty Nervous to say the least. I wasn't very Nice, But I feel like Dr. Tomasic dealt with me very Professionally. His staff the same, got through it all Cancer Free. All good in my Book, I'd definately recommend them. A very busy office should not be punished in Reviews. Some things are worth waiting for, It's life and Death. So I'd trust them with my Life. Not gonna cry over spending a little time waiting. I hope I never get any type of Cancer in my Life, but If I do Id trust them to look out for my best Interest. I'm gonna just eat well, and Make the most of this Second chance. Thanks Guys.

Amazing! Dr. Tomasic performed "life changing surgery" on my testicles. I had walnut sized cysts in my scrotum. Dr.T removed them and gave me every option of a comfortable recovery. Thanks, a total success. The staff was awesome, nurses, office, SP Hospital. They all took incredible care of me!

I had to wait 2 1/2 months for an appointment and then they subsequently cancelled the day before my appointment because they were overbooked. Their office staff is disorganized and Dr. Tomasic is uninformed. I was required to disrobe in a room that had an exterior window with open/dysfunctional blinds (people and cars drove by). Awful experience!

Dr. Tomasic is a fantastic Urologist. I highly recommend his complete office staff. From the moment you walk into his office you feel comfortable right away. His office staff has always worked with me to make sure I can be seen at a time that works for me. I have also called because I had a question and was able to get a call back with an answer promptly without having to make an appointment to get an answer about my concern. This doctor is not only extremely knowledgeable and highly skilled, but he has this way of just simply making you feel comfortable the moment you meet him and right away you have the confidence in him as you should have with all your doctors. The surgery Dr. Tomasic preformed on me gave me my life back. Thank you.

While Dr. Tomasic seems OK, the staff is easily the most incompetent I've ever seen in a medical office. I've shown up for appointments only to be told that the appointment had been cancelled. They claim to have a patient website, but I have never been sent a URL even after asking for it several times. I sat in the waiting room until 5:15 one day, when upon trying to close, they suddenly realized they hadn't gotten me in to see the doctor. This is the worst medical office I have ever seen.

Run and don’t look back. This place is a disaster. I called three times to ask a follow-up question and request antibiotics that was supposed to be ordered. —-no return call from the staff. A week later I physically went to the office in Redondo Beach and explained my situation. I asked for Dr Nickolas Tomasic to please call me. Again, no call back. Communication is not their strong point. Nor is caring for people. I bet they are really good at billing however. Poor Managment from top to

Billing department is terrible repeatedly requiring me to send proof of payments for bills already paid. When I recently got a letter threatening to send my bill (which was paid two months prior) to collection, I again had to make several calls to straighten them out. It is ONLY for this reason that I would not recommend this doctor.
