Arrogant and condescending
I agree with the previous poster, as my experience with Dr Zwang was similar. He was basically condescending and dismissive of some aspects of my medical history and patient safety concerns. Big ego, but little compassion. He arrogantly dismissed my attending doctor's admitting diagnosis (which happened to be correct) in front of me, which was totally inappropriate. The guy is a freelance hospitalist who is out of his element for certain medical issues. If you point out his condescending manner to him, he retreats to his crying room. Endeavor Health (formerly NorthShore) would do better to send this doctor back to Harvard to learn some basic communication and empathy skills. He doesn't rate highly in either area.

Terrible bedside manner, patronizing, unhelpful.
If I could give this doctor zero stars, I would. First off, terrible bedside manner. Second, prescribing me meds that I didn’t even need (blood clot meds and pills rather than IV meds). Third, NOT prescribing me the meds that I DID need and asked for. All of this was followed up with a patronizing apology. Zero stars.
