After an injury, I interviewed three doctors, including Dr. Yaru. I called his office and told them I wanted to interview Dr Yaru. He spent a total of 5 minutes consulting with me and told me we needed to do surgery. I told him I was interviewing other doctors and would let his office know my decision. I ultimately chose a different doctor. Dr. Yaru then submitted a bill to my insurance for over $200. I called his office to let them know that they did not inform me that the 5 minute interview would cost anything, let alone $200. After I refused to pay their bill, Dr. Yaru sent the bill to a collection agency, who then reported to the credit agencies and dinged my credit score over 100 points. I would never trust a person, let alone a surgeon, with that type of business model.

Dr. Yaru made my surgery so wonderful. Having had a hip replacement 10 years before, with a different surgeon, that hit my siatic nerve and left me with no dorsey flex I was differently scared to death to go through all this again. Dr. Yaru made me so comfortable and relaxed. I was spinning 5 weeks later. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Yaru did a great job on my knee replacement. I was back to work in a month and back to playing golf in 3 months. It is a painful recovery but worth it.

Dr. Yaru performed an arothopic meniscus procedure on my right knee. I appreciated that he was extremely conservative with his decision to proceed with the surgery, only after allowing my knee to have an opportunity to heal naturally; deciding to perform surgery after the MRI clearly indicted a tear that caused a substantial Baker’s cyst that ruptured and came back after several weeks. My procedure was under 30 minutes, no pain or discomfort post surgery and healing phenomenally well. Grateful

With the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced, I have come to explain why you should NOT go see Dr. Yaru if you want to be treated with respect. Walking into the office with extreme pain, I sat on his table in tears while he briefly spoke and did aggressive tests for my injury, only causing more tears and pain. With 6 years of knowledge on my recurring injury, he handed me a pamphlet and rushed me out. He's rude, disrespectful and doesn't treat you like a human, just another appt.
