I’ve been a patient of Dr. Nicholas Szumski since 2012, due to a closed head and spinal cord injury in 1995 and a seizure disorder diagnosed in 2008. As someone with complex medical needs, I require ongoing care from a neurologist, and Dr. Szumski has been outstanding in every aspect. While the wait in his office can sometimes be long and getting an appointment can be a challenge, it 's still worth it. Dr. Szumski gives 100% during every appointment and goes above and beyond ensuring that I feel heard and understood. He listens attentively to my concerns, provides valuable feedback, and always offers a clear, comprehensive treatment plan. The continuity of care he provides is exceptional—he takes the time to understand my unique needs and addresses them with care and expertise. I honestly never feel like just another patient. I highly recommend Dr. Szumski to anyone seeking a dedicated and compassionate neurologist who genuinely cares for his patients.

Such a Wonderful person and Dr. four years ago, when we started together. Was helpful and informative, and tried in his small realm of knowledge, tried to figure out the issues of my declining health. The point is. This is not a Dr who truly cares, and has his own personal issues that hinder his life and practise. He has also stopped my prescriptions, he got me on, and know have dangerous bad wihdrawl. He only cares about the niche he knows, and basically is smoke and mirrors, with very little professional business ettiquette. I could list more. This note is long enough. But he is not someone I would refer as there is an underlying mean Dr in there with issues. With out desire to care and help, and the staff try to protect that.Staff was wonderful as well. They all slowly became jaded, rude, and what I call uncaring! Including Dr Szumski. The Office Manager is Very inappropriate and should be removed.

Dr Sumski is the very best doctor in the world.. He used a white board to write out my new plan for my medicine.. Dr Sumski takes his time with you explaining your medical needs and why it may be necessary to change any medications ..

Dr Shumsky was very thorough with test and conversation concerning my issue and gave good advice
