Dr. N. St. Hilaire took fantastic care of my precious best friend husband R during the laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair on Monday 6.10.2024. We are extremely grateful that he removed a bigger left side dangerous inguinal hernia and having removed extra inguinal hernias on R's right side. He saved R! R never had bad side effects and he never got ill ! R mended fast, by Wednesday! We have 'grown' and learned a lot through this, and I am freer from many fears. Dr. N. St. Hilaire was gracious in waiting for me to meet him re giving the report of R's surgery great outcome! Thank you also to our daughter and son-in-law for being with me. ....JS.

Dr. St Hilaire performed emergency surgery on me for an inguinal hernia, followed 6 months later for a second hernia repair. After recovery, which went smoothly and faster than anticipated, I have experienced a pain-free life for the first time in many years. His personal skills are excellent, at the bedside, before surgery, at post surgery check-ups, and when informing my wife, both before and after surgery, of my condition. I am grateful to have been a patient of him and I would not hesitate to recommend him to a loved one.

Very disappointed in my treatment I love the staff I struggled with severe pain after the feeding tube was put in I kept calling the office asking for help that it was bleeding and painful I never got phone calls back I always had to call them it took weeks to get answers and still he didn't care enough to find out why so I had to have it removed the pain got so bad I went to the ER they pulled it out they wanted me to keep my appointment for follow-up but the doctor's office called and canceled said nope we don't need to see you very unhappy that the doctor did not try to fix what was wrong because I really needed this feeding tube and now I'm stuck without food he just didn't care

Dr. St. Hilaire is simply the best! I had to have a hernia surgery, and I was referred to him by my primary care doctor. Dr. St. Hilaire is very helpful, he is very kind, he takes his time when you meet with him, and he listens. He explains whatever treatment options or procedures thoroughly, and he answers questions clearly. After the surgery, he and his office were very helpful in answering questions. He was even responding and calling back himself after hours. I strongly recommend him. He and his staff are among the best! Thank you Dr. St. Hilaire, and thanks to the staff members of his office.

Open surgery and all went well. Checked up on me daily. Had excellent recovery..

Had double hernia surgery in January. Doc and his staff were excellent in addition to McLaren hospital staff. Highly recommend this group

We were impressed by the professionalism of the doctor and his staff. The doctor took the time to answer any and all questions we had and had folders and information sheets regarding procedures

He was friendly, great bedside manner, took extra time to answer in detail my questions after emergency surgery. Was very caring and knowlegable with surgeries that were needed and special stomach procedures, explained everything in detail with common knowledge wording that was easy to understand.

Dr St Hilaire is a caring physician that I would definately recomend. He took the extra time with my wife and I when she was found to have colon cancer during a routine colonoscopy. He helped us in our time of need and we have been nothing but satisified with the care and surgery she recieved.
