Dr. Sikalas was my father's Dr. I would give him 100 stars if I could. He has the best bedside manner. To say that he cares about his patients is an understatement. He took time during a family vacation to call my father and refused to get off the phone until my father agreed to go to the hospital. Anytime he saw my father's name on the board at Stonybrook, he would take the time to pop his head in and check on him (even though the visit had nothing to do with him). I will never forget the care that he had given my father.
