Silver-spoon surgeon hurled a goose egg
Arrogant silver-spoon daddy's boy who -- after his surgery on me failed -- had the audacity to ask me, 'What are you -- a concert pianist?' As if to minimize his botched effort and my need for a functional hand. Total denial and obfuscation. Avoid this clown. And who cares that he pitched for Princeton?

Great hand surgery job, never looked back
Dr. Pappas did a great job removing the extensive arthritis in my thumb that would bring me to my knees if it as struck. He repaired it and it has never given me any trouble since.

Dr. Nicholas Pappas, is a magnificent doctor whose wonderful reputation precedes him! I was suffering from chronic pain for 8 years. I saw an array of specialists that could not find anything wrong with me and would discharge me. Until I met Dr. Pappas. It only took 1 visit. He used his wise judgement and did imaging tests of my hand and found a tumor in my finger affecting my ulnar nerve. Thank you doctor for your superior knowledge and kindness.  Warmest Regards & Best Wishes.

Dr. Pappas was outstanding and professional. I have arthritis in my dominant thumb, he took x-rays, explained them thoroughly, gave me a cortisone shot and explained the affects of the shot both immediate and longer term. He was caring and welcoming ensuring my comfort. The staff in the office were consummate professionals, friendly and welcoming.

Dr. Pappas was amazing. Other doctors have performed surgery on my hands, and by far, this time was the easiest. It was very good to be treated with professionalism and care. My hand surgery was very successful, and if need be, Dr. Pappas will be the only one to perform surgery on my hands. I am beyond impressed with his experience and knowledge.

When I cut my index finger with an exacto knife, I had to be rushed to his office. He sewed me up so perfectly, there is NO scar. I forget where the cut even was. He was extremely professional, comforting, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. He has also treated several of my mom's friends for carpal tunnel syndrome and trigger fingers. They've all done very well and have had positive results. I highly recommended Dr. Pappas.

DO NOT SEE Dr. Pappas for care. I am a Doctor of Internal Medicine. My sister was concerned about her care prior to her surgery since she did not think her care was timely or comprehensive. She and my mother questioned him prior to the surgery and he became defensive and talked to them in an condescending manner. My mother is 72, AA, cannot walk due to her underlying autoimmune conditions and she lives in a nursing home.. He left her in severe pain after a fingertip AMPUTATION. I told him I

Do not Trust Dr. Nicholas Demitri Pappas III, MD Dr. Pappas works all so at University Medical Center and he hides won't see his patients. It took me three visits to get him to come out of hiding to see me. He treats patients there as a number not a patient. I got a call from a doctor not him that he was not doing my surgery when he said he was going to do it. Void this doctor.

He performed a hand surgery on me which was not successful. During my follow up appointment I asked if I should use an antibiotic cream or anti fungal cream on the nail while it was heading and he said no. Just keep it dry and let it grow back. It grew back with another fungus. When I called to have him call in an RX for either a stronger cream or an oral medication, he refused to unless I paid to come back in to see him. His nurse actually said to me, this is a business you know.
