Dr. Nicholas Lopresto, DO

Sadly, he was not available or attentive to my needs. He was difficult to reach, he doesn’t call his patients back when a phone call is needed. Intentionally, wants you to book an appointment otherwise he is not available. Even though, I scheduled a virtual, the system to log into the virtual wasn’t working on my end, I’d send messages asking to call, and received no response. He ended access to the virtual visit in less than 10 min., all along I was sending him messages through the app. Very frustrating to have someone so closed off and unavailable. I spend several hours calling Mount Sinai clinic in Brooklyn, no calls back. He also coded my visits incorrectly! It was a wellness visit and he coded as an office visit (huge difference, for those that have to pay). He was not detailed on the visit, I had to remind him a urine test was needed for a wellness visit. I am extremely disappointed with his lack of bedside manners, and compassion/concern for my well-being. I recommend he takes his job seriously. His main concern is to bill the insurance companies and get paid for additional services he didn’t provide. He should be available when his patient needs him, it’s not the other way around. He is a fairly young Doctor, he lacks empathy 100 percent.

Dr. Lopresto was my primary care doc in Brooklyn before I moved away. He was so kind and personable, while also taking extra time with me to thoroughly go through my medical history to make sure we were covering all our bases. He made me feel comfortable as an LGBTQ patient.

This was my first time meeting Dr. Lopresto. He was very welcoming to me and my child. I’m happy to have him as her Dr.
