Best Dr. Around!!
So glad we found this practice and this Dr., could not have gone better and so happy with Dr. Kyriazi. Glad I wasn't scared off by the lower reviews because I truly appreciate his honest straight forward approach. We adopted 4 boys and his bed side manners were kind, respectful and thoughtful. He was so thorough and made my boys feel heard and cared for. People, you need to have your own experience and give Dr. Kyriazi a chance, he really cares.

Missed profound hearing loss in child
I’ve hesitated writing this but other parents need to know. I told Dr. Kyriazi 2-3 times over the years that I thought my daughter had hearing loss because she constantly said “what,” and we had to repeat ourselves. He laughed and said “she speaks fine, so she can hear. Kids with hearing loss don’t develop speech.” Another time he said “she’s obviously passed the school hearing tests, so she can hear.” We took her to an ENT and learned she has PROFOUND hearing loss in both ears. Had he listened or followed through with my concerns, the hearing loss would have been caught much sooner.

Lack of evidence-based practice, arrogant
The lack of evidence-based information and advice we received at our last appointment was alarming. He basically wrote Covid off and said he wouldn’t get his own kids vaccinated because it was “experimental and too fast.” He then proceeded to tell me, a pregnant woman, not to get vaccinated, although he has no experience in obstetrics. His bedside manner is abrupt and opinionated. He is arrogant and doesn’t consider feedback from the parent, assuming that he knows best. We switched doctors immediately after our appointment.

Opinionated and no bedside manner
As first time parents, I wish we were warned about Dr. Kyriazi's lack of bedside manner and strong opinions; none of which were based on science or medicine. Dr. Kyriazi acted aloof to COVID stating that "masks don't work" and was not sensitive or kind to two very sleep deprived new parents. Maybe he's better with an older age group of kids...? Regardless I do not recommend.

Zero bedside manner – May 11, 2022
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Kyriazi?
I have experienced Dr. Kyriazi with both of my daughters when in emergency situations for this office. His bedside manner is abrupt, unprofessional, and not reassuring whatsoever. Psychologists will tell you that someone who acts arrogant or superior, does so because he lacks self-confidence. He uses intimidation in his approach. In the schoolyard setting this healthcare provider likely was a bully. The biggest joke in the medical field is that if you can't make it other specializations you become a pediatrician, likely the case for this doctor. I am surprised he chose this field, as he doesn't even seem to like children, does not take the time to listen to the parents and makes the child feel uncomfortable. Medical studies will tell you that any correlation between arrogance and obnoxiousness, results in medical errors. He is not a trusted doctor for my children and never will be.

I am rather surprised at how he gives his opinions verses health care advice. 15 years as parent/patient and he has recently been a huge disappointment sharing his opinion on current events as well as care. "you can take your mask off" to the parent is not what I want to hear. "I would never let my child play tackle football" is not what I want to hear. I want medical advice not opinions.
