I was told 7 years ago I had to wait until I was 60 to have total knee replacement. I retired with over 20 years of military service and at 39 started teaching Zumba. I had to finally stop at 48 I was having so much knee pain and the steroid injections wasn’t giving me any relief. One of my students is a nurse at Blanchfield and told me about Dr. Kuesnezov and all of the success people were having. My primary physician had me go for X-rays and with those results referred me to an orthopedic. I was scheduled to see one orthopedic surgeon, but he said my condition was beyond what he was more complexed than he was use to treating. I thank God for one he was honest and that unbeknownst to me Dr. Kuesnezov was about to enter my life. He was honest and already knew what he was going to do. When he told me he was going to perform a total knee replacement I was on cloud nine!!! I received my 1st total knee and October my 2nd total knee replacement. I am pain free! I’m not sure how to put into words how Dr. Kusnezov and his team changed my life. He did a right hip replacement on me and now I can serve out the rest of my military career without enduring severe pain every day. He is an outstanding Surgeon and I will recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Kusnezov performed my first surgery, I had a past scar from a traumatic event that would get weird sensations and irritable at times. So, he recommended a scar revision, and we immediately sat down and put me on his schedule. with this being my first surgery, he made me feel secure and the whole OR team took care of me. I was very self-conscious of this scar due to the cause of it. With a procedure that took maybe 10 minutes tops made the irritability of it stop and made the scar much thinner than the original. I'm going to be much more confident when the scar fades and fully heals. Dr. Kusnezov will make you feel safe and treat you like an honest friend whom he's known forever. Went in for a follow and Dr. Kusnezov explained what could be done to fix the pain in my knee. The surgery went very well and now i have no pain in my knee. Dr. Kusenezov was very thorough and explained everything that was going to be done.

I went to Dr Kusnezov to talk about getting a bilateral knee replacement. After my previous experiences with many other doctors, where I felt the doctors were just checking the blocks to move the process along, I was pleasantly surprised when Dr Kusnezov "cut to the chase" and told me he'd do it as soon as the schedule allowed. The topic of doing one knee at a time came up but he listened to my desire to do both. All my questions were fully answered and I was left feeling really good about finally getting this surgery done. His skills were fully evident right after my surgery when I was able to get a range of motion of 0 - 92 on my left knee and 0 - 95 on my right on day one as soon as I got to my room. It's been six weeks since my surgery and my range of motion is 0 - 135 left knee and 0 - 140 right, and I'm told that this is pretty much the range of motion of a healthy natural knee. I consider myself very fortunate to have had Dr Kusnezov as my surgeon and highly recommend him.

Dr Nicolas Kusnezov was very professional and an expert in his field. I had to get an ORIF done on my elbow because i had an Olecranon fracture from a hard fall. Before doing my case he told me that he would make sure to take care of me. This made me comfortable to leave my life in his hands. After the case i was not able to fully extend my arm which scared me. I explained my fears with Dr Kusnezov and he reassured me if i ate my protein and worked hard in Occupational health i will be able to gain it back. Dr Nicholas Kusnezov , is very professional, and beyond the best surgeon. Not only has he fixed my shoulders and Right knee. He has repaired my wife’s shoulder as well. I have had quick recovery’s and feel so much better then before. I have given him 5 stars because I trust him that much.

I am an active duty soldier and was fortunate enough to have Dr. K reconstruct my PCL and posterolateral corner on my right knee in June of 2020. I was incredibly comfortable and confident in his abilities when I first went in for my pre-operative appointment - I knew I was in good hands. He discussed the procedure in depth and answered every question I had for him. Following surgery he continually made himself available & approachable to answer any questions. Furthermore, he consistently stayed tied in with my physical therapist to ensure I was hitting my recovery thresholds. My knee is completely where I want it to be and cannot be more satisfied. Dr. K is a great doctor that I would recommend to anyone without any hesitation. Lastly, the entire orthopedic team at BACH was helpful and friendly.
