I cannot say enough great things about Dr. K and the staff at the CRRS. He is thorough, responsive, compassionate, has fantastic bedside manner, and most importantly is a talented surgeon. I would highly recommend him, especially if a major goal of your surgery is to overcome infertility. He approaches infertility from multiple angles (not only excising endometriosis). I know this method is successful, because after 4 years of infertility, I am 26 weeks pregnant with my first miracle baby. In September 2018, Dr. K excised my Stage IV endometriosis, performed a selective chromotubation, D&C, endometrial biopsy, bilateral endometriomas removed, and appendectomy. My surgery was about 4.5 hours long and I stayed in the hospital overnight. We’re from VA so we did have to stay in Atlanta for two days following discharge before going home. Dr. K is fantastic at managing pain and checked in with me frequently post-op to make sure I was healing well and did not have any concerns.

Dr. Kongoasa was extremely nice to work with on figuring out my endometriosis treatment. I feel that he understood my needs perfectly and made me feel very comfortable with everything that was happening. I have severe pain when being examined and in the past doctors have not respected that much, but Dr. Kongoasa was very gentle and made me feel that he cared about how comfortable I was.

I am so thankful for Dr. Kongoasa. I had surgery in February (that went extremely well), but I was nervous about the healing process and Dr. Kongoasa listened and took everything I said very seriously. He is very kind and knowledgeable and made sure I was completely comfortable.

Dr K listened to me when no one else would and made the diagnosis of adenomosis from a description of symptoms. Of my other 5 doctors, no one else even thought of adenomyosis---but it proved to be the right diagnosis. Dr K figured out what was debilitatingly wrong with me and performed surgery with a truly competent hand. I am so incredibly grateful to Dr K and the Center for Endometriosis Care.

I feel as if Dr. Kongoasa saved my life. I have been to numerous doctors, hospitals, emergency rooms, diagnosticians, therapists and no one was able to help me until I made the trip to Atlanta from New Jersey to meet with Dr. Kongoasa. He was kind, compassionate, understanding, efficient, knowledgeable and in my eyes, a genius. There was a time when I thought I no longer could go on. Now I have a wonderfully, pain-free future to look forward to.
