I got top surgery with him and it was amazing! he was kind, gentle, made sure I understood everything I needed to and asked every question I had. can't recommend him enough!!!!

The negative reviews on this site have to be confusing this Dr. Kim with someone else. It would be impossible to interpret this man as rude in any way at all. He was not only immensely respectful to me at every appointment, but he was also compassionate and patient with my support person on surgery day. He takes his time with you. His staff were welcoming and friendly, and clearly liked the place they worked. Wait times were long, yes, but the time everyone on the team took with me in my appointments more than made up for that. Dr. Kim is top-tier skilled and he works with precision. My surgery results cosmetically are amazing, and it's also clear he took close care in the surgery procedure to cause minimal trauma to my body to allow amazingly quick and low-pain recovery. This has been the only unambiguously good medical experience I've ever had, and I'm incredibly grateful I ended up with Dr. Kim as my surgeon.

I had multiple surgeries with Dr. Kim, over multiple years. He first performed my top surgery (double mastectomy). His placement and shaping of incisions was done well, and he was able to allow me to keep sensation in my nipples. Next, he performed my phalloplasty and glansplasty, along with a scar revision. I believe his experience and expertise as a hand surgeon greatly influenced the success of my skin grafting. Dr. Kim has great bedside manner, explains everything thoroughly, and is very professional. He has a great attention to detail and is very precise. He focuses on functionality as well as cosmetic outcome, producing fantastic results. I very much trust his judgment and am confident in his abilities as a surgeon. Following surgery, he was very helpful and responsive in addressing my cornerns. He was able to find time in his schedule to see me when I had concerns with my healing.

I went to Dr Kim for possible reconstruction surgery and breast reduction surgery following a lumpectomy. Not only did he shame in every way possible he and his staff played games with my appointment. Canceling it after I called to confirm it and not notifying me. The worst was how he behaved during the appointment he had to allow me have. He never allowed me to give an opinion or to be a art of my care plan. He made rude and hurtful comments and treated me like I wasn't even worth his time. If you care about your life avoid this Doctor.

let me started by saying 1. he refused to assist me with my top surgery 2. and now he wants to retire so I can t get my bottom surgery. I'm a intersex who needed.

I experienced a freak accident while traveling and had to have surgery on my pinkie. Dr. Kim saw me for the follow-up visit and pin removal. I thought he was really kind, gentle and very knowledgeable. I really appreciated his bedside manner and the care I received from his wonderful nurse.
