Dr. Nicholas Halaby, DO

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Halaby. He is a very good provider. He listens, and evaluates you thoroughly. I am impressed with his knowledge and expertise. Would definitely recommend him to my friends.

He is always on time which means so much to me. With other doctors I had to wait for hours sometimes. I never wait more than 5 minutes usually, big plus!!!! He listens to everything I have to say about my problem and we work together to solve it. It's not just one way, like with other doctors I've had in the past. He's more knowledgeable about newer things like Ehlers-Denlos Syndrome and he is also into holistic healing and I really like that!!!! He gives therapeutic massages himself and that's very nice. I recommend Dr. Halaby highly to my friends and family. My family actually goes to him and my friends had insurance conflicts but would if things change! The staff is very kind also. Everyone is polite, friendly and helpful to all my needs.

Told him I was fatigued, short of breath, weak, light headed. Dr. Halaby said I was dehydrated. Not too long after his diagnosis I had a serious heart attack. My LAV (vein that carries blood to the heart..also called the widow maker) was 90% blocked and I am lucky to be alive. My symptoms should have been a red flag to him..but nope. Good luck to his patients. Thank you to the cardiology dept. at NHRMC!!

Dr.Halaby became our new Primary Care physician when we moved to Brunswick Forest. My husband and I have been so impressed with his professionalism and breadth of knowledge. It is reassuring to know that this young doctor has our best health interests at heart. We recommended our son and his family to Dr. Halaby when they moved from NY to NC last month. They, too, are pleased with the care offered by him and his PC staff. We hope he does not leave this practice!!! John and JoAnn Efthemis

Dr. Halaby became our primary care physician when we moved to NC last year. Our previous doctor in VA was excellent and we were skeptical at finding the same level of expertise especially in a younger doctor. However, we were, and continue to be, so impressed with Dr Halaby’s knowledge and skills. We love that he is a DO and will suggest options for treatment when applicable (holistic and medicinal). Dr Halaby listens intently and in our short time in NC, has aided us in attaining positive health changes.

Dr. Halaby is understanding, caring and professional. He’s a young man with a great future ahead of him. If you’re are looking for a new doctor, don’t look any further. I Highly recommend him.
