Dr. Nhu Hang, MD

I was a patient of Dr. Hang for a couple of years. I have other specialists in Seattle that have always worked well with my previous PCP, Dr. Hang didn't. She didn't listen to me when I explain my problems or when I stated which antibiotics I needed. Instead she let the infection get worse and said I should've gone to the ER instead. I ended up there anyways however it could've been avoided if she listened to me or my specialist. I have left her practice.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Hang and she was more than 20 minutes late and then said repeatedly how she didn’t have time to go through things, and then super rushed me at the end. That shouldn’t be put on me. She had doubts about all my medications, and requested a mental health assessment to even entertain them even though I’ve been on several of them for many years. I didn’t feel listened to or cared for, felt her tone was generally dismissive. I’m not super looking forward to continuing care with her.

I am enthusiastically thanking and recommending Dr. Nhu T Hang, MD, PCP, formerly of Multicare. I had the pleasure of having Dr. Hang as my PCP for 6 years. She was/is the most attentive and best listening Doctor I have ever experienced. She is caring, intelligent, and approachable, also an extremely pleasant person. I have never seen any Doctor respond faster on the patient portal when needed and Dr. Hang always gave excellent and timely counsel. She is totally reliable and has the highest integrity. She was my best medical resource, I trusted her completely. Circumstances were that she moved away from her Medical organization so I lost her as my Doctor. In my opinion, losing her is certainly their loss, and my loss for sure. Thank you Dr. Hang for the years of outstanding care.

Dr. Hang has seen both myself and my husband. We've gotten excellent care, she spends time (within limits of a busy practice) and responds quickly to patient portal emails. She is knowledgeable and thorough. Just wish Multicare were better at supporting family medicine practice instead of closing them down.

Dr Hang listens, doesn't rush the appointments & orders necessary tests. Just had my wellness exam & she was great. During Covid I think patients should be more understanding that medical professionals are under a lot of pressure (but not an excuse for bad service). I agree UW phone system is just horrible.

Dr Hang was my PCP for nearly 2 years. 1st exam was excellent, 2nd exam was horrible. Very rushed, and hadn't read my file prior to remember that I was to be rechecked for bigeminy. Said "and I don't recall anything else?" And I was gone. Then, I went for my mammo and ended up going 3 times. The biopsy results couldn't be given to me, but sent to Dr. Hang. When I didn't hear from her, my husband and I drove to her clinic and waited for 30 minutes. She wouldn't come out, and we never talked by phone, partly because the UW phone answering service is the worst system I've experienced, and not designed to leave messages. We talked on the 3rd day. It was very upsetting. She said: "Well, I guess by now you know you have breast cancer." She said she knew she was too busy to discuss this diagnosis. I suggested she could call me after hours and she said: "I don't call anyone after clinic hours." She did call back a few days later to apologize. Dr Hang shouldn't be & isn't a healer.

Arrogant, poor communication skills, superior attitude, snotty, rude, does not listen to patient or accept what they are telling her.
