Dr. Nguyen Phan, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Phan’s for several years. He is an excellent doctor in traditional allopathic medicine and also in holistic health and wellness and nutrition.Dr Phan is very smart, has a wonderful bedside manner, is thorough, patient, and takes quite a bit of time at visits to explain health problems and solutions. I leave each visit feeling very motivated to follow his advice.It’s a breath of fresh air going to this office and the staff are also terrific.

I love this doctor! He takes time to go over test results and LISTEN! He offers both holistic and traditional medicine. Absolutely recommend

Blown away - excellent doctor and amazing staff

This doctor is amazing at finding any problem with fatigue, thyroid etc. I wish I could still see him but I have changed insurance and moved to Conroe. They ONLY problem with paying out of pocket for me, as a senior, is that it takes his billing person forever to reimburse you.

I have gone to DrPhan about 5 yrs. My husband goes also. He is a very good and caring doctor! We are the 'bad' patients. We are now making better choices, including celery juice!

Dr. Phan is a phenomenal doctor. He actually spends time with his patients, explaining labs, treatment options, patient concerns, etc, all without condescending. He is open to both traditional and alternative care, and marries the two based on what he thinks will get the best results for you. The only reason I stopped seeing him is because we lost our insurance, and he's out-of-network for the plan we're on now. But if you're looking for a doctor who will actually listen to you and help you figure out what's really going on, he's your guy! I've also never had an issue with the staff. They have all been kind and friendly to me.

Dr Phan told me the truth with care snd compassion. Is thoroughly knowledgeable and in every way I am happy with him. But more importantly if a person is sick and is ready to heal, SEE DR. PHAN! Several years ago I was referred to him by a friend. As it turned out I had Hoshimotos Thyroiditis. And I was ready to get to the root cause. If you’re looking only for traditional medicine’s approach to healing with prescriptions only l, this is not your guy. If you’re looking for someone who can actually give you your life back by addressing and treating the root cause, he IS your guy. EVERYTIME I leave his office, I feel understood, not judged and relieved and with renewed hope! I no longer have Hoshimotos Thyroiditis and living free of all my related symptoms. Lost 60 pounds in the process and off all my prescriptions. Thank you Dr. Phan!

I had been looking for a more naturopathic doctor compared to traditional medicine. Dr. Phan looks for alternative solutions than just prescriptions which many times treat symptoms but not the underlying cause. I wanted to get to the root of what was causing illness and develop a plan through diet and healthier eating, exercise, supplements, and homeopathic solutions. Then go to prescriptions if needed. The results have been positive not only for putting off unnecessary medication, but for weight loss and healthier habits too. I would recommend Dr. Phan very highly and have already referred other families to him.

He knows what he’s doing!

Dr. Phan is one of the most humble, honest and compassionate doctors on Earth. I started seeing him for a very painful thyroid condition I developed during the lowest and darkest point in my life. No other endocrinologist took my symptoms seriously, let alone diaganose my condition.

It took several months to get in to see Dr. Phan, but it was worth it. After being insulted and degraded by an endless series of doctors for a lifelong thyroid condition, being referred to psychiatrists and given diet pills, Dr. Phan listened, and understood. And he helped. He is a miracle. I am in tears just writing this. Thank you.

Dr. Phan is the best! He communicates to you what your treatment options are and that consider the whole person. He is caring, knowldegeable, and spends time with you. Dr. Phan has made sense of my thyroid problems and other issues. I had tried several doctors before including endocrinologists. Their focus was totally OFF. Love you Dr. Phan.

I loved Dr. Phan but his staff is not cordial and rude. I have been going to Dr. Phan for two years but received a very rude phone call today and terrible customer service from them, due to that I will stop attending this clinic.

Finally a doctor who really seems to care.

Have been dealing with thyroid issues for the past two years and no dr seems to know what to do..was referred to Dr.phan and he is not accepting new patients!!! Help I have heard that he is the only one who has helped a lot of my friends.. When will be accepting new patients!!!!

I have been a patient of Northern Pines Health (Dr. Phan and Dr. Nguyen) ever since 2010. BOTH of these doctors have been excellent. I have a complicated medical history, and each one has spent their time with me exploring options, explaining diagnosis and procedures, explaining test results, calling to follow up, etc. Their staff is extremely caring and efficient and their office is always impeccably clean and bright. I can't say enough good things about them.

I've been seeing Dr. Phan for autoimmune thyroid issues for a year next month. His bedside manner is impeccable (he even performs his own blood draws), he's kind, attentive, and very knowledgeable. Dr. Phan takes the time his patients need, and is also very responsive via the patient portal. He understands that Big Pharma is often not the way to stellar health, and is simply there to guide you. Staff gives appointment reminder calls and are all very kind and sincere.

A wonderful, insightful, patient, incredibly well-read, thoughtful,, humble (yes), and understanding doctor. He has a huge amount of knowledge about thyroid-related issues, and also knows about thyroid's relation to adrenals and is open to using hydrocortisone when appropriate. Of the 8-10 doctors I've been to for my very challenging and mysterious heath condition over the last two years, he has been by far the best and under him I've seen the most progress. He also has a great sense of humor.

Both Dr. Phan and Nguyen are amazing doctors, they care about their patients and listen. Thank you both!
