Dr. Nerissa Price, MD

My wife is on several serious medications. All these meds state very clearly the dangers of stopping abruptly. Almost without fail, whenever we attempted to refill the prescriptions we were met with obstinance. Her office hours are only Wed and Sat. The phone calls are not answered but automatically go to message. When you leave a message you are clearly told that no matter what, you will wait 5 business days for her to call in. We wait 5 days and find out she didn't get message or somehow we fell through the cracks. At this point we are out of the medication, we call and state this and are met with derision. Through her actions, it is obvious that her patients are only an annoyance and that she can play with their lives. Several, several times my wife went without her medications for days, losing work, getting very sick and made to feel worthless because she needs these medications yet, has to tread on eggshells lest she offend the gate keeper, Dr. Price. Never again.

She withheld my medication which caused me to become very unstable and physically ill which became life threatening. She refused to help me in anyway during this time. When I attempted to fire her as my doctor she retaliated by terminating me from all services at the clinic. She is a very decietful, cold hearted person who should not be allowed to practice medicine. She does more harm than good.

Withheld clonazepam for 6 days after which I went in for an appointment. At this point I attempted to fire her. Had seen her twice totaling an hour. Her treatment was inhuman as I had been on this medication for two years. The withdrawal led to a forced inpatient hospitalization that day where I finally received my medication. After which, I was placed back under her care and refused meds for another 30 days leading to another inpatient hospitalization. In my opinion she should be fired.
