Good experience.
Went in very nervous due to the nature of the visit and worried about their response to my LGBT+ status. Dr. Barnhart was very courteous, respectful and caring.

I wouldn't recommend her unless you want the most basic of basic prenatal care with absolutely no conversation. If you have concerns or questions, she is not the appropriate doctor for you. My first appointment with her felt rushed and cold, but I passed this off as just a busy day at the office. My next appointment affirmed that she really doesn't care about her patients. She's very rude and extremely condescending. I know understand why she average at 2 to 2.5 on all sites with reviews.

Smug, condescending, complete lack of empathy and very judgmental. Nothing that I was concerned about was addressed, spoken to like I was either a very confused psychosymptomatic loon or entering early alzheimers. I just wanted to be done and leave.

I am on medicaid, and after being shuffled around with an overloaded/overworked staff at seamar, it was a relief to switch to Dr Barnhart. She remembers who I am every time! Asks questions about my prior concerns, always has time to address further questions. Things so simple as that makes me feel like I am in good hands. I am 30 weeks pregnant and a very nervous first time mom. I google all the things and she is very knowledgeable/up to date with her information and welcoming of concerns.

Dr. Barnhart treated my entire appointment like it was just something to check off her list. Very cold. I had a few questions after my appointment and after one email response from her nurse, I never heard back. Either she is completely overloaded or doesn't have her heart in her career anymore, either way I won't be returning to her.
