delivered two of my babies
I am extremely grateful for Dr. Ponder. Whenever I had a concern, he promptly addressed it and was very respectful of my decisions throughout my pregnancy. He did an amazing job with my C-section, and I will definitely return to him if I have another baby.

They cancel my appointment as I walk in and treat me like I don’t matter. Thanks for never calling back Dr. Ponder, I really appreciate your lack of concern for my chronic issues that weren’t resolved with your promising surgery.

Most Caring OBGYN in the Tri Cities!
The first time I talked to Dr. Ponder was on a Saturday--he called me even though I was not his patient to answer my questions about VBAC risks and possibilities. Needless to say I was very impressed with the conversation. I felt confidence in the information received and the experience Dr Ponder has with VBACs, and decided to transfer to his care since my original OB had recommended a planned cesarean at 38 weeks. I have never regretted that choice to transfer to his care and am grateful for the VBAC I was able to have. He is calm, never rushes or pressures you as a patient, and is a skilled physician. He gives solid, practical advice and my life is better because of it. I highly recommend Dr Ponder to anyone looking to have a successful VBAC or good delivery experience.

I was impressed with Dr Ponder. He is easy to understand, and very explanatory. I could not think of questions to ask him. So when he was explaining my diagnoses, he would offer questions up that were related, and then answer them! That is an amazing way of educating a patient because we all go home and have questions. He also took his time, like he had no where else to be than providing patient care for me. His staff is very professional and friendly. Glad I found a good doctor!

Total nightmare! Wasn't even my Dr, but involved himself anyway. He called me and it quickly became clear that he had misunderstood what I needed (based on a message I'd left for my own Dr. with the receptionist). When I tried to stop him and explain he got flat out aggressive, yelling at me to calm down (I was confused at that point but not upset), telling me I didn't understand what was going on, and shouting at me to stop yelling at him even though the complete opposite was true. Stay away!!!
