No Communication
I am about to have a procedure done with Dr. Marya, but have not heard a word from him or his assistants Donna and Laura. All I want is to consult with him about what will happen during the procedure, not the day of. Terrible communication.

Disappointed Patient – Nov 19, 2024

Uncaring
My husband had a recent colonoscopy in September 2024. The whole experience was unpleasant from start to finish. The doctor never met with my husband for any consult prior to the procedure. When my husband tried to get a follow up appointment to talk to the doctor about the results, he was told the doctor doesn’t meet with the patients he only does the procedure. The day of the procedure my husband waited an hour in the prep room before he was even taken into surgery. Additionally, the nurse did not place the IV in correctly and the anesthesiologist caught the error and the IV needed to be removed and reinserted in a different spot. They also intubated my husband without informed consent as he has sleep apnea. He has never been intubated before with any prior colonoscopy with other doctors. A few weeks ago after the procedure my husband received a phone call stating the doctor wanted to do a repeat colonoscopy in January 2025, without a consult or clear explanation as to why.

Excellent doctor
He is a very nice, down to earth doctor. He listened to me and made sure I understood everything. I would highly recommend him.
