Visited the ER with a major issue. Dr. Wingkun was my attending physician. After introductions, Dr. Wingkun listened carefully to my issues and ordered tests, checked on me several times while I was there, spoke with and coordinated with my specialist on my care, and carefully explained what he was doing. As an ER doctor, Dr. Wingkun didn’t come across as rushed or too busy as some ER doctors can. He was busy but presented himself as calm and concerned. I would highly recommend Dr. Wingkun as a doctor and feel fortunate he just happened to be assigned to me.

Dr. Wingkun is inattentive, with terrible bedside manner. My mother who was admitted in the hospital for a kidney/UT infection which turned into septic shock several months back. I brought her to the ER because she complaint of excruciating neck and body pain. I told the ER doctor she has be having chronic infections and low grade fevers and she has a low grade fever now. I then said it may be a good idea to do a urine analysis. He said “for neck pain”? I said she has a fever not only could this be exacerbating her pain but it could mean the infection has not been responding to her current antibiotics. He finally agreed to perform a urine analysis after arguing for 10 mins.
