Osteoporosis -- first visit
I have only had one visit, but based on that, I am comfortable with my decision to see Dr. Gonter. I drove an hour to see him because he was recommended and feel it was worthwhile. I felt that he looked at me as a totality-- not just a number on a test result. We talked about exercise, diet, past history, and he presented pros and cons for various treatments and helped guide me to a treatment that I feel comfortable with based on potential side effects and benefits. My intake was 1 hour. I did not feel rushed or pressured. ALSO, THE STAFF is amazing -- patient, efficient, responsive ... Well worth the hour's drive to reach this doctor and his practice.

Super Doctor !
Dr. Gontner is a caring, conservative, knowledgable , physician . If he is treating you , you can be certain you are in good hands. The building where his office is located has a lab if you need blood work , xray machines , and an infusion center . He really cares about the outcomes of his patients; and you can count on him to answer your questions and take the time required in your particular case.

It is almost impossible to reach the office. All you get is an answering service that doesn't take messages. I NEED an appointment, and can't reach them. I also can not get test results, after months of trying.Last year, when I finally got to see the doctor, I told him about the front office problem and he said, he knows, but shrugged and said he can't do anything about it! I need treatment again, and they sent a reminder card, but still don't answer their phones. I've never gotten all my test reports.

After a year of my disease flaring without my old Rhuematologist catching it Dr. Gonter was there to save the day! He has amazing bedside manner. He’s very personable, thorough and not cocky, he is not afraid to reach out to other doctors for input and he always takes all of your concerns seriously. He is very easy to get in touch with if you have any questions or problems and the front desk staff and nurses are all awesome as well.

I suffer from an auto immune disease which means I need to see Dr Gonter more than twice a year. We talk about the latest developments and research on my disease and possible new medications that would help delay the onset of further issues with this horrible disease. He’s a very good listener. He’s a little Distant but I think that’s just the way he is. When I ask him about his family he will turn around and smile and talk about them. So he’s not Dr 24 seven. I just wish he would spend more time with me.

Never even got to a visit after waiting months to see him, I was told he wasn’t going to be in. I was told I could get an appointment with an associate. Which I wasn’t exactly excited about. But I was told I could follow up with him. Then I was called the week of my appointment the associate is now canceling on me. I have been suffering on and off and just want to find out if it’s RA and get a treatment plan. But these drs are definitely not the place to get help.
