Dr. Neelam Thacker, MD

Dr. Thacker is amazing!! I highly recommend her. She delivered my first 2 children! My second pregnancy had some complications with pre-eclampsia and she was just wonderful! I miss her! Anyone would be happy to have her as a doctor !

Dr. Thacker was a blessing with my first pregnancy. I had my baby in June of 2020 which was peak of CoViD. Being a healthcare worker myself, and working with Covid patients was a huge stress. But Dr. Neelam was always the reassuring voice with practical solutions. My pregnancy was also complicated by many other reasons, but Dr. Neelam was always available to talk through it, she never makes you feel rushed. Her office staff is also wonderful. It’s a small setup with a personal touch. She was a good patient advocate during my entire labor and deliver which was complicated by Covid. Any first time mothers or others, I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Thacker and her team are awesome! I went to Dr. Thacker while I was pregnant with my first child. I was looking for a private practice where I had the full attention of a single thoughtful doctor and that’s what I got and more. At every appointment Dr. Thacker took the time to answer all my questions, share anecdotes and advice from her own pregnancy and personal experience, and always found time to laugh. Her staff was always pleasant as well and I always looked forward to my appointments. Thanks to Dr. Thacker I have a beautiful healthy baby and will want to go back to her for all my future babies!

I seriously could not have had a better experience with Dr. Neelam Thacker! I was very nervous to make an appointment at a new OBGYN due to bad past experiences, but she was so kind, caring and gentle. I felt extremely comfortable the whole visit - she didn’t rush anything & talked me through everything. The staff was also very accommodating on the phone when making the appointment since I had a limited schedule & they were so friendly as I checked in as well! I could not have imagined an OBGYN appointment being such a great experience! 10/10 recommend!!

We had our first baby with Dr Thacker and she was beyond amazing! Dr Thacker is dedicated to her patients. She is the person you see at every appointment and is there to deliver your baby till the end! We loved how patient she was and friendly and even talked about her personal experiences . She always checked on the progress even after delivery and suggested few best options for lactation, nursing and took care of every step even before delivering my baby explaining things to deal with ,clearing my doubts all the time. Her staff is very friendly and helpful and she is available on call/text for emergency questions and any help. If you are looking for an OB and want someone who is there from beginning to the end of your journey, she is it! Delivered my baby with peace of mind and was lucky to have her as my OB.

Dr. Neelam Thacker was my OBGYN from 2017 - 2019 and throughout my first pregnancy. I felt very confident all the way. She responded to my text on the night I was in labor at 3 AM in the night! She made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. I never had to worry about delivering with another doctor (Like how it usually works, anyone on the team could deliver your baby depending on the hours). Even during my scheduled visits, she spent ample time with us answering our questions and concerns. She goes above and beyond to help her patients. Her staff is also very responsive and prompt to get the pre-visit tasks done without having to wait for long. We moved away from the Medford area recently and I am so sad to have to search for a new OBGYN doctor. What a real gem!

Dr. Thacker goes above and beyond to help her patients. She’s an awesome doctor to have.She was very caring and helpful through both of my pregnancies especially my second one when i was having problems with my gallbladder when i was around 8months til she delivered my healthy babygirl. She is very un professional I have two health care providers and my co payment is $60 when I called to make an appointment she got on the phone herself to tell me I owe her $30 and my co payments are $60 then she told me I couldn’t afford the $60 copayment to go find another doctor really WTH I am in so much pain and she tell me no over $30 I told her I would give her $30 and she still told me to find another Dr I guess she needs the $30 more than I do lol bad review

If you want someone super knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything you should go to Dr. Neelam Thacker. I had her for my first pregnancy and she was always available to talk to me about concerns I had, both big and small. Not only did I give birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl, but she also was super calm and patient with me and always provided me with great options for whatever I was dealing with. I would recommend her to all my family and friends.

Dr. Thacker is awesome. My wife was in Boston, while I was in San Francisco, for the first two trimesters of her pregnancy. Dr. Thacker and her team were extremely responsive, knowledgeable and accommodating of our situation. I had an opportunity to be taken care of Dr Neelam Thacker! Excellent doctor!!! She is very informative and caring at the same time. She takes time to explain everything in detail which is rare in a very fast pace healthcare system that we have in place today!

All her reviews are amazing that is why I came to the office, but to my surprise I was actually seen by her mother, who is covering for her for maternity, she was way too practical with my difficult pregnancy and told me specifically “if you start bleeding just go to the ER because I don’t deal with pregnancies anymore”. Well not very convenient. She would ask a question and not let me finish when answering. Just called and asked for my records and her father, at reception, said no.

As a Swiss traveling in the US, the last thing I wanted to do is to go to a gynecologist. I waited as long as possible to abvoid it until I really had to see a doctor. Dr Neelam Thacker was super nice and explained everything very well. I felt comforable at all time and she took good care of me. I would highly recommend her.
