I have had terrible chronic nerve pain and other neurological issues for 10 years next spring. This doctor is next to useless and set my care back nearly four years. She is completely lacking in broad knowledge and insight. She barely ran any tests at all, yet put me on various medications that damaged my health and offered basically no relief from the horrible pain that has ruined my life and, at one point, drove me to homelessness. She is arrogant, irritable, and dismissive, despite her inability to think about the big picture. She truly did not try to help me and treated appointments with me like a chore, and she was always late. If she really was trying to help me, then it's not a lack of effort, it's a lack of knowledge and also a lack of awareness about which doctors she should refer me to if she was unable to solve my problems herself. I recently changed doctors and I already have hope again for the first time in a decade. Thorough testing, big picture thinking about the various etiological factors of my disorders in order to understand the scope of diseases that may be at play If you have chronic diseases, do not see this doctor.

Very prompt. No wasted time. Everything from check in, nurse taking vitals and gatheruing infornmation to Dr. Hendler's examination went very smoothly and comfortably with no wasted time. Dr. Hendler provided a very thourough and professional physical examination and listened without judgement. She provided the most follow up I've ever had from a physician with detailed feedback when I asked for specifics. She took into consideration my observations about my health situation. Dr. Hendler gave options for care and didn't push me into anything. This was most welcome. I am grateful to have found Dr. Hendler and that she was willing to accept me as a patient after my previous health care provider of 27 years retired this year.
